P.S. Wasn't sure where the bug forum was, not been on the forums for ages and couldn't spot it at a quick glance, so they need reordering so it stands out! Can I submit that as a bug too in Silence Upgrades & Gorges Comment by Nexus5 April 2017

That's why I named the thread things I would like to see
A guy can dream. -
Things I would like to see,
1) similar play to NS2 but under water, capturing resources, building structures etc.
2) A persistent world map with added bonuses for maintaining control for that particular faction, for example i… -

Not the same and if you followed the conversation trail, my idea would have made the railgun exo redundant so… -
Aliens to me seem quite OP early game, a lot of Games I play, the Aliens tend to win before marines can get a proper hold and bring out the Exo's. Marines in my opinion are OP late game, Aliens just can't seem to win against a large number of Exo's …

Ah well I guess it makes sense for what it is for then and yes I mostly Play Pub Games normally the 32 server ha. -
Bit unsure about this idea, to limit Players and what they can evolve into is a bit infuriating for Players, especially if new Players have evolved into said Life Forms, and especially if more veteran Players are yelling at them as they are not "usi…

I think they should cost 2 res per mine, simply for the fact its a one time use device and it would cost less than or the same (can't remember) as a Gorge Hydra, especially as most of the time Aliens take them out so easily anyway, bile bomb, lerks …

I think mines are very expensive and have little effect later on .... I never purchase mines and many other Players do not as we are saving for more useful things that aren't a one time use, but can still achieve a death with one hit, such as a shot…

Never thought about how it might affect the Railgun Exo, especially as the Sniper Rifle could be used in close combat as well as long range and does the same amount of damage per shot where as the longer you hold down the Exo's button the more damag…

Well not really as firstly its not that accurate, you can't zoom in, you can't see stealthed units and its a bloody expensive rifle isn't it >.> not to mention slow, big and lumbering ...

"No Where at all .... maybe Crevice" you kind of disproved your own point, besides there are other area's and you can use the Sniper Rifle in short corridors, seriously watch Stargate Resistance video's they had close combat units … -

Maybe a mini deployable turret, I would prefer Marines to be able to buy such devices rather than leaving it to the commander, I wonder how that would affect gameplay though? -
I think those that claim it wouldn't work due to maps are sort of missing the point, you could really say that about any weapon on any map. Oh no use using Arcs as the corridor is to far away from the hive, no use using grenades as the vent angles s…

Re-read my statement again mate, you didn't take it in the first time. I don't think there should be a concede button in NS2 period, I want people to go down fighting, but if you have no chance in winning then what is the point in… -

Ah so there is something in game which relies on the present system and in future who knows what else, so it probably isn't worth changing. -
I think if a team has 0 resource towers, that they should still earn resource, I wouldn't want to play a game where there was no hope for a come back at all and if I were playing on the opposite side I wouldn't want my enemy team to just give up, a …

I don't think the % should apply to structures, but allowing more buildable items would some what negate that anyway. I like the idea of being able to build more or less depending on if the Commander decides to build another hive, especially for tun…

Interesting idea, was against it at first when reading the title of this thread, but when reading through it kind of makes sense, the only thing I can think of which could counter this would be if the Devs were planning to implement something in the…

Interesting idea's I love the gorge and like to help the commander build quickly and far, but making the Unit even more relied upon I do not want to see. I am noticing in the bigger games that occasionally the alien teams are starting to suffer from…

Its strange as I have seen a lot of marines bunny hop there way through 3 skulks and still be hopping after the win ...? Is it some type of hack then or just a glitch in the games mechanics they are exploiting, whether aware of it … -
Technically if the onos swallowed you whole shouldn't you keep your weapon and cause damage on the inside, to try and kill the onos from inside while the team are shooting on the outside? Seems a bit unfair for an Onos to one shot a flame thrower, w…

No you aren't promoting team work you are taking it away, those team members should be listening to you and building tunnels where you ask, you shouldn't be able to do this yourself .... the one advantage a marine commander has is … -
Wouldn't you like Marines to be able to purchase mini robots of some kind? That would be awesome.

I like this idea, not only should it help cut down on cheaters as you never know when someone might be spectating you (as it wouldn't affect the game) but it can as the original post states, help people to learn the game better/faster. Watching Yout…

Any reason why this change was implemented? What were the repercussions for not changing this?
I see everyone's points though and thinking of how Hydra's work vs Marine Turrets, it probably does make sense, just frustra… -
Underground water based map would be awesome, with water falls, lakes and rivers in amongst the areas you can build a base.
Also some kind of high up Mountain based map and definitely a forest/jungle type map, though prob be laggy as hel… -
