This is exactly what I have found as well.

Looks like the matter is on their radar going of the below trello link:

Already running at max settings with good frame rate.
This feels like a bug or severe un-optimisation / incomplete LOD implementation. From what I understand, they've gone away from voxel based terrain whether the new t… -

Just reinstalled and started a new survival game last night after having not played for a good 6-8 or more months (really can't remember when I last played Subnautica) and it's a shame to hear the Cyclops is still essentially point… -
@Calarand77 Love your base design, though you probably removed a tad to much on one side to the point that it doesn't look structurally sound (for immersion reasons). O…

Ah k, well I guess it actually will be "fixed" at some stage then

Doesnt fixing the lifepod with a welder restore the gravity anchor anyway? I know it says it does now once you fix it but havent been in the current game long enough to see if it still drifts away.

Sorry but I actually want the survival game mode experience, not just to have consequence free exploration and base building. Once the game actually releases Ill be starting a hardcore game. I don't mind the amount of food and wate… -
Found 1 Seamoth fragment last night in a new survival game since the last update. Played for around 1.5hrs for which I didn't even have a Seaglide till about 40min in. By around an hour I already had all the plasteel and enamled glass I would need f…

I used it a little bit in the past for caving but generally have no issue back tracking those. The wrecks on the otherhand when its night time, it's hard to see the environment outside your torchlight beam and you're almost out of air and are trying…

Not sure why we are only seeing this notice about the update now? As I saw this new intro when I updated Subnautica a couple of weeks back and started a new game in hardcore.
But otherwise, nice work devs! in Crash Sequence Update - Subnautica Comment by Hyp3rion March 2016 -
August / 6 months till release is still pretty soon to me when I've backed and been being playing other games for 2-4 years that are still in alpha and very obviously still in early development! in It's true, SN for XB1! Sucks to find something awe-inspiring only to find out they're just pulling the wool over your eyes...

It does appear if you pay attention that he stops on a ledge part way down (camera stays just close enough to crop out the edge of the ledge he stops on that you just glimpse on the previous downward view) rather that the actual bottom proper but I …

I know what you mean (use an iphone to post a lot of the time) and it is funny that our two threads mirror each other in a lot of ways in When is it coming out? Comment by Hyp3rion March 2016

I think what is missing is a dedicated deep dive sub that is specifically for exploring the really deep depths that would crush the seamoth and cyclops. I see the seamoth as a beginner to intermediate sub that is versitile and quickly replaced but t…

I agree that this would be a big improvement to using the Seamoth. You put it exactly how I feel Sidchicken, every time I get out "where the hell am I?"...spin around until I can see the Seamoth and re-orientate myself.

@conscioussoul Just posting to say 'great work on the megathread!'An under water monorail adds diversity in transport & ways to experience Subnautica. Warp pads simply add a "fast travel" mechanic which detracts from the experience.
I know which feature I'd rather see implementedThe idea is sound but I believe a lot of what makes Subnautica enjoyable is the journey you take. Actually moving through the living, breathing & often dangerous water world is the main experience & I believe being able to simply "warp" arou…I don't see why not Lemon, but I do think a monorail would be much better suited that an actual train so to speak. It would basically be a mini-sub attached to a big single beam / railing which supplies the power & means of propulsion.
Wow! Great update!(Quote)
You just need a terraforming tool to remove the rock, otherwise it's base building as normal.
I like the idea of a collaborative base, where people could check out the files for an hour or two to make their additions an…Just have to say Devs - GREAT UPDATE!!
Keep up the good work in Crash Site Update Released! - Subnautica Comment by Hyp3rion May 2015Nice! I like the ingenuity of tunnelling out an area for parking the subs and recessing the base itself into the rock. It makes me think of something like a secret base out of a James Bond movie.
I similarly tried to make a dock / home a…
