I don't know if you could revamp infestation without totally stripping the code and remaking it completely from scratch. I don't really know how NS2 is built but that might not even be possible at this point.

I guess I do have to agree with NS1 maps being more interesting, I guess I just meant that the NS2 maps aren't inherently flawed.

Those screenshots have me excited man. Didn't think I'd want to get back into spark again but something about seeing Origin being given the remake it deserves is getting me in the mood.

Personally I'd love a potential NS3 to be a super immersive high detail NS2 with the best elements of NS1. Also I personally think the extreme focus on competitive game play killed a bunch of fun stuff in NS2 and would also ruin any potential NS3

Its a real shame UWE had to cut their "final" infestation. I remember Max or Cory saying they wanted it to be similar to the inside of a gorge tunnel, with small fauna growing and crawling on/in it. DAMN YOU INDIE BUDGET, DAMN YOUUU

Sadly, Seige maps dont work for Ns2, because of the alien commander and infestation systems. It would need to be a mod and not just a map
