Don't forget Body Harvest and Hybrid Heaven (They weren't very popular even though they were great.)
Body Harvest was the precursor to GTA 3 except with aliens and Hybrid Heaven was an RPG with a super combat system oh and a story thats full of consipiracy.

I seem to be alone in seeing that the N64 was a disgrace to Nintendo's name (Let's not mention the Virtual Boy, however), and entirely put me off buying another Nintendo console, purely through what a disappointment it was.
Although i do have a GameCube, but that's irrelevant. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

If you liked Mario 64, try Rocket: Robot on Wheels (might be called Gyro in Europe). It's the OTHER good 3D platformer and has a ton of variety.
If you like co-op you gotta play Goemon's Great Adventure. It's had to find, but seriously one of the best 2D action/platformers ever.
Majora's Mask kicked Ocarina of Time's ****. And anyone who disagrees hasn't played Majora's Mask.

Majora's Mask singlehandedly proved that video games can be an art form. It is almost unfair to compare Ocarina of Time or even Link to the Past to it, it's simply in a league all of its own.
I'm suprised nobody has mentioned Gauntlet Legends. Some games you should get though are Jet Force Gemini, Battle Tanks: Global Assault, Zelda: Ocirina of time, Zelda: Majora's Mask, Perfect Dark, Mario 64, Mario Cart 64, and the expansion ram.
Of all these games Jet Force Gemini is by far my favorite. The game looks all cute and friendly until you get into combat. The combat in this game is truely amazing, you turn the cute little bear things and the giant ants into copious amounts of goo with your impressive arsenal of weapons. If you get any of the games I mentioned get Jet Force Gemini.
And Jet force Gemini made me proud of my starsign/netname up until the point where you beat the semi-final boss then find out you have to rescue all the silly lil gizmos before you're allowed to fight the final boss. I stopped playing there because I hate collectemups :s
Marioparty also wore off half the sticks on the my controllers; one of my friends even burnt a hole in his palm ^^;
Oh and I completed the two zeldas and OOT was way better than mask. Mind you the UFO/cow thing was funny as heck XD

Looking back, I think it's pretty damn amazing they got Super Mario 64 and Wave Race 64 fitted in a 32 Meg Cartridge, and Legend of Zelda: OOT in a whopping 64 Meg.

the goeman game on the snes (legend of the mystical ninja) owned all games ever made :p
It wasn't just a coop fun experience but a sidescrolling beatemup, a platform game and an amazingly good set of mini-arcade-style games.
Air hockey, Quiz shows... so much to do and so little time XD
As for JFG, I expect the final boss was fabby as all the boss fights were good but was it enough to make up for the fact rare decided you have to go rescue every last one of those hairy little freaks?
It'd be like playing through the adrenaline pumped action of r-type or ikaruga only to find out you have to do a crossword puzzle from the local paper before you can fight the last boss. It's a shootemup so throwing in that crud after such an intense game and before the finale is pretty anti-climactic :/
Ok.. in list of importance to play Doomey, since you finally have a N64...
First: Goldeneye (Sorry its superior to Perfect Dark in every way) Mario 64(you can check that one off as completed) Mario Kart 64(If you can beat my time on wario stadium I will fly there this summer) OoT(Obviously.) Star Fox 64(One of my favorites. "Nice shooting fox.") and finally, Blast Corps. (Absolutely beautiful soundtrack only reason I bought it.)

- Already have the gamecube re-release of Ocarina of Time. I loved it.
- Majora's Mask I bought on eBay and should be arriving any time now...
- I have no one to play SSB with. :(
- I played Goldeneye back when it was brand new. Hated it. FPS's on console games even now are iffy, and back when they first started doing them they just sucked entirely. Why play Goldeneye when I could play this wonderful game called Quake, which looked and played much better, on a LAN no less? I have no nostaligic love for the game, and so I will not be planning to pick it up. Perfect Dark neither, for the same reasons outlined above. I know a few of you are going to come after me with pitchforks and torches, but bleh. :P
Shadows of the Empire was indeed a fun game. I played the superior PC version. As a side note, this was the first PC game to come out to require a 3D accelerator.
Is Starfox 64 like the original, or is like the new ones where you're running around on the ground and crap?

Funny you should mention that, Donkey Kong 64 was the only game my boss owned and thus he threw it in w/ the system. I guess now I know why he got rid of it eh? :P

Nah..Chameleon Twist will do it. XP
Seconded. It was crazy and I enjoyed it.
:: edit :: List updated.
One of the BEST GAMES OF ALL TIME.
Oh and:
StarFox 64
Super Smash Brothers
Banjo Kazooie
Goldeneye
StarWars Shadows of the Empire
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Blast Corps if you enjoy eargasms by music. I'm listening to the Soundtrack right now. Cromlech Court, damn good.

[edit] also, 64 had the best version of harvest moon ever.

You made me go and find my N64 and the following games:
Perfect Dark
Goldeneye
Paper Mario
Mario 64
I should go down to blockbuster or Hollywood video and see if they have Ocarina of time for sale, in fact, that's what I'm going to do.
Edit: Ah yes, Jet Force Gemini was an AWESOME game.
