We do not kill our fish. We catch and burn them alive with lazers while removing all their bones and organs with molecular disassembly technolgy. Also the repultion cannon can be used for the pushing predators away thing. Actually i think thats what…

Its a good idea to start over. Especially with an update that includes alot of major changes. No idea were the moonpool and upgrade console framents are anymore. In a wreck in some biome is all i know.

@lethal71 It looks like your power supply is jumping in increments of 25 which i think is how much solar panels store. The pic where your power is at 300 it is daytime, m…

@BlindGuardian Im glad i helped. This bug wouldnt be so bad if we could remove upgrades from the Scanner Room so they arent lost when we deconstruct it.

@LocketWraith I think there is a command that lets you change render distance, I have no idea if it works on the Xbx1 version though. Check the wiki for more info.

Scanner Room cancels out various sounds. Reported this bug before the patch too, guess they didnt see it. Its known now though (i checked the trello)

You can use the dev console (LB + RB + A) to save yourself if you have to. Not sure what command you need but it should be easy to look up.

I got hit by an extinction bug (no creatures or resource nodes spawning) yesterday that a save and reload did not fix. Restarting Subnautica fixed it though, did not have to start a new game.

After about an hour of playing yesterday i had to do a save and reload to fix fps and terrain pop in, which got pretty silly. Had a few instances of creatures popping in just a few meters in front of me too, doesnt seem to happen all the time though…

If they just added an "unequip" function i would be happy. That would allow me to manage my inventory with relative ease. Currently i use storage lockers to move my hotbar items around.

My cyclops is named the S.S. Dolphin in honor of Cpt. Olimar (pikman) and my seamoth is named Loki in honor of the family dog.

How about under water lakes (they exists here on Earth) and then add under water pond skaters?

This is a good idea. I dont know if a connection between the player and the Aurora can be formed by just an extended cut scene or flash backs (took all of Mass Effect 1 to get attached to the Normandy and Mass Effect 2 played on this perfectly) but …

I got some more details on the sound bug i encountered a while ago.
Its caused by the Scanner Room, and once built i loose a wide array of sounds suchs as the base hum, gasopod's pods, stalker attacking and other ambient noises. This is … -
You can always set the left hand to LT or R3 (if thats what you fancy) in the options menu.

Split screen would most likely crash faster than multiplayer would. Having to load stuff for 2 people on 1 system has always caused more lag. Look at CoD Zombies for example.

The fish is in your inventory its just that is a usable item so if you had a empty slot in the hotbar it would show up there. As a side note, the Devs should add a way to remove items from the hotbar without me having to put them in a container to d…

Getting to an area where the creatures spawn and then saving and restarting will also help them spawn. Never go hours without giving the game a break, or bad/disapointing things are bound to happen. Its good for you too.

If that doesnt work try uninstalling and reinstalling the game without deleting your save data, it should either be complete upon reinstall or you should be able to scan it to complete it again. To keep this from happening again never quit Subnautic…

@FlamingSkulll You have to assign a button to reload in the options. Many people choose X

The game tell you that the knife broke doesnt it? I swear mine did i cant remember if it was text or audio though. I just drop the 0 durability one and make a new one, maybe they will add reparing?
-
Uninstalling and reinstalling may fix it. Im curious though, did you ever play in creative? Or did your base flood and after it drained you fell through? (happened to me once)
Also were you using a pre-update save? -
Fair enough point. I do love the sounds the drones make, and i can understand wanting to check out the cool thing we just built. Thanks for the call out, there was really no need for me to reply in such a snarky way and i apologize for that.
You're welcome m8. Glad i could help you out.
