I realize there isn't much more to add on Obraxis, but I want to just reinforce what the OP had on this. I recently received my Rift and I was extremely nonplussed with the whole thing. I would refer to ADR1FT as being the closest thing to what I wo…

I'm still hoping it's a bug. Either that, or they really want Steam to fill up with reviews consisting of:
"Started a new game,
Was chased by a long string of sharks and giant fish,
Realized I can't build a weapon
0/10" -

Looks nice. I'm glad it's small enough you can still walk through the room. The large aquarium is somewhat annoying at times.
-
My guess is, if you deconstructed enough, it would have worked.
I had something similar, but mine actually spawned INSIDE of a multipurpose room. I probably should have taken a screenshot, but I was able to deconstruct everything and get… -

I would say there's a 0'th point to that list which is "predators just keep eating irrespective of any actual hunger or need". Their whole AI consists of "charge next available creature, kill it, repeat"
I forgot to inc… -
Basically, yes. That's how it currently runs.
I have a GTX 980 TI, 32 GB Ram, i7 4790k 4.0ghz with Subnautica on a PCI-E 4x M.2 drive, running on recommended settings, and it still regularly has terrible FPS drops. I assume they'll get a… -

I'm super excited about all of that, but the magnetic dock and base recharging is probably my favorite.
I do think it would be nice to have an option to put in a reactor of some kind. I still feel having more radical mo… -
Well, there's nothing that says they can't put do something that allows additional tank slots to show up, like building different backboards or buoyancy compensators (or however we lash the tank to us), though it's probably just easier to make a tan…

As regards the change, I think this is nice, though I'm still not sure it's sufficient for the wreck changes. Assuming they end up moving all the fragments into the wrecks, then you're stuck exploring the w… -
Well, the respawn mechanics I think will improve it somewhat. The later-game period where the bitters/bleeders have killed most things and started packing up will hopefully be reduced.
There are still some biomes that need a rapid reduct… -

I would also be fine with a propulsion cannon mounted to the front of my Seamoth like a Space Marine Landspeeder that let me hoover in stuff without (and this is the key point) actually getting out of the Seamoth ever. -

Nod. I'm advanced open water certified back with the Y, though I'll admit my total hours is still pretty limited. I feel at least I understand the basics in Unrealism of pipe layout Comment by project_mercy April 2016 -
Man, I just want a little arm on the front of my Seamoth for picking stuff up without getting out and being violated by packs of bleeders/bitters/crawlers/etc. I don't need to get out. Just give me a way to bring things in!

I would honestly be surprised, given the fabricator, that there would be much of a reason to do electrolysis. Electrolysis of distilled water is considerably better at making hydrogen than oxygen, it gets worse when you try to do it with brine (you …

People for the most part favor the path of least resistance. If you say "You can charge this at a base.. or you can just ascend to 100m and wait half minute or so and you're good to go!" and I'm guessing that's the last anyone care… -
I think base charging is really all it needs.
I've never felt the "this is my mobile base" thing is astoundingly good for the game. Part of the game is building bases, including gathering materials, laying them out, building them, poweri… -

Hey, if it would spit out a Land Raider and Power Armor, I'd give that fabricator a gold star.
-
It doesn't take a fabricator to figure out how to lash your knife to a stick and poke things (or just cover the outside of your seamoth with knives). I've always taken it that the Devs envision that in whatever future time this is, people are advers…

Positional audio is still off for Sound Blaster Zx. The roar is always positioned about 30-40 degrees left and about 30-40 degrees up from center. I just tested it and the reaper was actually about 50 degrees right of center and probably about 10-15…

I'm fine with the hunger/thirst levels. I don't really get the day/night cycles. If I want to go out exploring, it's basically just the time I park somewhere and read the forums until its over. When I'm not exploring it's irrelevant. It may not exac…

They really could stand to post release notes for both stable and experimental builds. Or get the backend working again and mark the tickets that were targeted for any build between the last one and the latest one and throw those in a pulldown.

Yeah, I have a Soundblaster Zx that I run both surround to headphones, as well as Dolby out to an Astro A40 and also to speakers sometimes in a 4.1 setup. I haven't noticed issues with the Reefback, but I guess I probably just tune…Apparently everyone else went with Yes. I vote No. The reason being, the game already has a ton of map. It's just most of it is basically worthless. You can only see where you're at for half the day, and then it's mostly (now) about skimming past st…I've put in feedback/bugs on this before. I don't have my VR headset yet, but while it's vaguely annoying with a normal monitor, I feel it's going to be super annoying when I'm in "VR" and the sound position is in that same odd left-channel position…Arrr, you scurvy land lubbers just need to find yer sea legs!.. and possibly a barf bag.(Quote)
There's a bug in the stable version where it sometimes wanders irrespective of the pod status. Repairing the pod does not stop it. It doesn't happen all the time, but once it starts it just keeps going.
It's fixed, as f…You can actually teleport to most of the wrecks in the game also, including ones in the shallows. Assuming your base was near your starting spot, it's a decent way to get back if you die.You have multiple options. There is a debug console in the game to help test it right now. You can use that to just give yourself the solar panel blueprints, or spawn yourself any items you could want, like a knife.
