Though it pains me to say so, being a huge Subnautica fan, I tend to agree with Lor360.
It's not that Subnautica Below Zero is a bad game in itself, quite the opposite, but we do not judge it on a standalone basis, i.e. we have to compar… -
I feel people are being way too harsh on NMS. The only real issue with the game is that people clearly overhyped it, which can only lead to disappointment, and the price is too high, which is however probably justified by the fact that it came out o…

Well not to brag but I refer you to one of my previous posts on the story : http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/comment/2298… -

Exact same thing happened to me. I'm always very careful of Reapers because everything about them is scary. But once, as I was carefully looking for blueprints in my Seamoth, not too far from the Mountain area, I look left, nothing… -

Honestly no need for a Stalker farm. Before I used to wait until I needed them to collect them, which was a pain. Now, I simply keep my eyes peeled for them as soon as the game starts and everytime I pass through the Kelp Forest. I… -

I have to say I find the energy per item distribution to be very troubling... I mean if you want to get the most out of your Bioreactor, you have to breed Reefbacks and then feed the babies to the Bioreactor...

I always build my base in the same biome, i.e. the safe shallows, on any cliff facing the Kelp Forest (to leave room for the Cyclops), and to be honest I don't see any reason to build elsewhere at the moment...
Safe shallows are:(Quote)

Yes it's much more realistic that way. this means the game will probably be out for Xmas whic…just to help people think about the story, here's a list of what we know of the game so far (WARNING, SPOILERS AHEAD) - of course, all I have listed hereunder may change before release:- according to Subnautica's wiki, the Aurora is a sp…
Impressive work !! You have obviously spent a lot of time and effort on those ideas and drawings and that's just great. Congratulation!
I love a lot of your ideas:

Cool, thanks for the answer If the issue is making clear to the players what they have to do to fill up the fabr…(Quote)
Cool, that's good news. I was expecting the Seamoth and Cyclops fragments to stay on the seafloor anyway but as long as most of the fragments are inside wrecks, that's great (especially if you indeed theme said areas)! It will add …(Quote)
You know I was wondering about the Cyclops thing too. I was wondering if it was just me or if we all had a hard time seeing through the front window. I guess I now have the answer in Tech should not be found on seafloor Comment by Osydius May 2016(Quote)
Well, considering the release of v1.0 is planned for August, I would not go as far as to say they have plenty of time ahead(Quote)
In a way, you are right of course, but I feel it will detrimentaly impact the experience of many players. Why? Because while we are all here playing Early Access and basically know that (at least until now) all can be done with jus…I would actually rather have shorter night tbh (relative to day time). Because the way the game is now, you really don't see anything at all at night, so when you play on hardcore, you take huge risks by diving at that time, and flashlight or flares…(Quote)
This is actually a good point because (i) on the one side, if you only allow 1 O2 tank, you increase your inventory space, but have to increase the number of times you go back to surface/seamoth/cyclops, whereas (ii) on the other s…I thought of another way to dock the Cyclop myself
What we need is actually a docking room in which you enter face fir…

Cool, I thought it might work that way but I hadn't crafted to Propulsion Cannon yet and had not had time to test it yet. Glad to know there's a way to get it.(Quote)
Exactly! It makes way more sense to find tech in old bases or wrecks than in the form of boxes lying on the seafloor. I really hope they intend on making new techs available that way, it would be much cooler. The damage models real…(Quote)
To answer your first question, based on the depth at which you find them. On average, Copper is in shallow waters, silver around 100 meters deep, and gold under 200 meters. Others are even further down. Since the way this game work…Like MistressAthena, I also think that the game will be rather short (compared with today's standards) and offer little replayability. I mean the game is supposed to launch in what, 3/4 months? How much content can they add in that time? Sure, they …(Quote)
The point is not that I can't find silver, but that it's harder to find compared to other rarer components like lithium, gold or uranium which is not logical.

Thanks ! Glad to know they're aware of the issue and working on it.
It's really not that much but every little detail counts.(Quote)
I think decompression will never make it because it would create too much downtime. I mean Airlocks would make a lot of sense too but I think the reason they're not in is the same, i.e. it would craete too much downtime (I would lo…(Quote)
Exactly. It would have been a different story if for some reason (water density, DNA alteration, gravity, etc.) pressure was not an issue on this planet, but it clearly is since our submarines are limited by said pressure (even mor…Unless I am mistaken, I believe they said they would allow us to use the PDA in the Seamoth. So it would be reasonable to assume that we will also be able to use it in the Exosuit (allowing us to eat/drink).I've always thought that this would be on of the thing we would be able to update with the modification station. Like you start with that big, clunky flash-light, and then modify it to fix it for instance to your suit (like make a bioluminous suit f…This would be a great change actually. It would make a lot more sense. This is all great news! I love the idea of having cams on the Cyclops, as well as flood lights.
After all, the Cyclops is basically a moving base, so at some points, you should be able to get it way down, and then turn on the floodlights…
