Did you start over after the last update?
If not fragments are random. I found 1 there and I searched everything, had a lazer cutter and a repulsion gun. It was especially fun with the 20 bone sharks and amp eels swimmi… -
It needs a perimeter defense system like the Seamoth to get all the larva off it, and predators away from it. It is very big, attracts a lot of attention, and it's hard to defend....

It is Sept 2017 and I just built a multipurpose room just above sea level and it is full of water as described above.
Guess this was never fixed in that "next update..." -
The part of the Aurora wreck where you board the Aurora can be seen from across the map....i.e. by the Dunes.
It stands out from the rest of the wreck. -

At least for the drill arm, you only need 2 fragments...so you are still good there.... -
I'd like the Prawn Suit drill arm to feature a resource vacuum that sucks the resources into the Prawn storage if there is room in the prawn storage. Chasing resources down cliffs after drilling is stupid....

Those are called "large resource deposits." Using the subnautica terminology would ease the confusion.
So you want to know where the Aluminum Oxide Large Resource Deposits are?
My guess is not in the game ye… -

So are you asking what they look like?
They are not inside rocks you break, they are just sitting on terrain like lithium....

I lost the Degasi base fragment due to reloading, then I only found one at the Koosh wreck and then lost that one after reloading due to drowning at the Grand Reef wreck (and yes I saved after the Koosh zone, I always go back to my… -
Currently you have to find all three Modification Fragments in one playthrough without quitting and reloading, or dying and reloading. If you reload you lose your fragment progress and have to start over scanning three more fragments. Also, the frag…

Frustration due to poorly designed games causes aggression, not violence in video games itself.
For instance my inability to defend myself in this game makes me frustrated. I have a knife, leviathans can eat you in one or two hits. You c… -
I scanned a modification fragment at the Grand Reef Wreck then I got back to base and saved. I then went to the Bulb/Koosh zone wreck and died. I reloaded my save and went back to the same wreck in the bulb/koosh zone. Scanned a modification fragmen…

Ability to prioritize which power sources are utilized first, and the ability to prioritize appliance power usage, including oxygen production and lighting inside/outside of bases.
I would prioritize Solar > Thermal > Bio/NuclearOk well there are a few basalt chunks inside the big mushroom caves, and the Wiki eludes that there are mineral nodes on the mushrooms including basalt. If this was never actually the case, and the few basalt chunks present in the Mushroom Forest ar…(Quote)
The "pacifism post" was the thread I started yes.....
Someone posted that the devs didn't want to put guns in the game because the game was released close to the time of the Sandy Hook Shooting.
The Sandy Ho…Ok so the lag is because of being able to harvest the mushrooms themselves? I suspected that could be the case. What about my other question, where are all the breakable mineral nodes? Are the only ones in the big mushroom cave?I hope you are discussing my post about wishing for more ability to defend oneself in the game, because they just closed that discussion. It was about my third post in this forum and I have to say I'm not at all impressed. I thought Hinterland moder…Well thanks for inadvertently answering the question I asked three times at least, in between all your preaching of pacifism.....the torpedoes are indeed useless....ok thanks!
I'm not looking for a FPS. Just wanted a way to defend myself…[/quote]The aurora is a science vessel. The entire purpose of its venture to this distant world was to terraform it, and study the life there to learn about it's ecosystem and how to colonize it while impacting the life there as little as possible. …I'm not afraid of any of the big fish in this game, it's just tedious that despite all my "advanced technology" the best I can hope for is to freeze them, push them away, or run from them.
Can't get some type of exploding tip harpoon gun…If you cut something with a flaming energy blade, I'm sure it would take less than five minutes of stabbing actually. I would cut it lengthwise and let it's guts pour out. Or you stab it in the gut and let it swimming away from you take care of the …Well, I am already over it. Since everything outside was reset, all the nodes were reset and they added more to coral tubes in Safe Shallows I believe as well. So I spent a couple hours re-gathering resources. Other than some eggs, I believe I have …Lets not forget the barnacles are often also "floating" off it's hide, or are invisible and inside some of the terrain on it's back as well. Why won't it exactly?I lost a propulsion gun fragment with this update....displeased...I'm pretty new so my opinion is probably invalid, but I would like it to be harder to lose a cyclops in general. I don't know the best way to go about doing that, maybe some hull upgrades to lessen damage from large creatures significantly.
