Would you be able to take this exact LMG model and make it have the same P and W models as the V model? I have a very decent GFX card, and so d oa lot of other people, so maybe that would enhance the game for them a little.

I'm going to be a freashman in college in about 2 weeks. So, I really don't know how much time I could put into this project. nthngnsd can animate and I'l put time in when I can.

I think I am done with the pistol and LMG, so now I will devote most of my time to the shotgun, any suggestions on what I shoul dmake it look like? They are both 1490 polys (I figured, if one is about 1500 they all should be).
They look sweet. Well the actual shotgun as-is is almost like a spaz-12...since it has a stock and all. My only advice for the shotgun would be that in the animations side of it, make the stock release animation a bit more dramatic looking, as of now i think the shotgun animations are a little plain. Also the shotgun doesn't look very powerful for the damage it does, so think about that as well.
Other than that i LOVE the lmg/pistol renders, the sight on the lmg is just uber.
anyone else think his pistol in-game shot looks like the new pistol from hl2? (the modified HK USP match)
I don't like the spas 12. One of my favorite things about the NS shotgun is the slide doesn't just go back and forth, it kinda curves <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

You know that picture in the console (with the two marines one having a shotgun), well the shotgun looks big there but ingame it looks really small, it doesn't look like it can do much damage. I want this one to feel like it would.

My biggest suggestion for the shotgun is to re-emphasize what Cheez said: the current shotgun's foldable stock seems to just instantly go from folded to in ready position. If you have a foldable stock, have the hand actually bring it back.
Otherwise, I'm thinking in terms of what to base the shotgun on...probably should base it less on a shotgun popular with police forces, and more on one used in hunting. The Kharaa's main forces at any level in the tech tree are dog-, pig- and bird-sized, so basing it on any current police forces shotgun meant for humans wouldn't quite feel right. The thing is, NS doesn't do outdoor environments, so it's hard to find a real-world shotgun to base it on that's designed for both CQB and hunting...

and the sg should be sort of like a Pancor Jackhammer i figured..
