Removing a watermark - or even just reducing it to a small, unobtrusive size - pretty much equals giving the image away to thieves who will make money on it. I've had my works stolen and then cropped or clumsily edited to remove my name from them to be sold on various websites offering phone backgrounds or desktop wallpapers. Only slapping my name across each and every single pic was able to stop that.
That little rant aside, I absolutely love the dead zone image. You had a really cool idea for it and recreated the atmosphere of the biome perfectly. Awesome!
Yeah, I agree with you 100%- art thieves are disgusting and deserve zero respect. It does make me a little worried when the watermark I'm using is so obtrusive that it's rather hard for most people to understand what's going on with the image, though. Hopefully reverting to the old watermark resolves that.
Thank you

Did up another doodle last night, and a little bit of coloring earlier today. Reworked a WARFRAME OC of mine to fit with the Subnautica universe.

The original OC was a legendary smuggler who ended up retiring, sending the Tenno (player characters of that game) on some wacky adventures to do stuff for them. While I'm not completely certain on a specific bio (trying to think of something that isn't too over-the-top...) for the Subnautica version, one thing will always be consistent: they will always be a fun time to be around.
It's super not-canon (since Ryley's the only survivor of the Aurora crash afaik), but it's really fun to think about the stuff Zeriba would put the poor guy through. In this case, I imagine she'd send him off to go find the last bottle of hair gel that the Aurora carried for its personnel or something.
Re: The Aurora Approach: A Subnautica Prequel Fancomic | + Other Fanart
Little update, toying around with some designs for some of the Aurora team, plus Zeriba. It's a little saddening that nobody's approached designing the people mentioned in Subnautica yet.
Bonus, on the request of Xenodrome98 since there was a significant lack of hair gel:

You stole the ion crystals!? You monster! Someone call the Peeper Police!
Re: Achivement not working
This will be fixed in a future patch (is already fixed in the Experimental Steam beta).
[MOD][PC] Murky Waters v2 - With DLL patcher! [WIP
[Normal > Dark > Darker > Darkest]

I re-made the Murky Waters mod I did a while back to include a patcher, so you don't need to hex edit anything yourself anymore!
I know people are wary of random .exe's floating around on the internet (and quite rightly so!) so I included the source code, in case you want to check it and build it yourself
Ever felt Subnautica is just a little too... bright? The fear, for me at least, comes from Leviathans appearing out of nowhere, not seeing them in the distance and avoiding them.
If you agree, this is the mod for you!
3 settings to choose from:
Dark: Similar to normal settings, only a slight reduction in visibility.
Darker: Probably the setting I'd recommend. A modest reduction.
Darkest: Very poor visibility. You will not be able to see very far in front of you at all. Bring a torch.

SETUP:
1) Drop the SUPER basic and not at all rushed 'SubnauticaPatcher.exe' in your game folder (where the game exe is)
- If you don't know where that is > Open Steam, right click Subnautica, select Properties. Click on the 'Local Files' tab and click 'Browse Local Files'.
2) Run patcher exe, and click 'Backup'. If this fails, make sure the patcher exe is in the right place.
3) If it succeeds, select your preferred 'Murkiness' level and Click 'Patch File'.
Note: Using the patcher to run the Game will fail if Subnautica is set to 'Run as Admin'. Doing it this way will also disable the Steam Overlay.
4) Either click the 'Run Game' Button or launch the game normally.
5) Enjoy!
Returning to normal settings:
Provided you followed the SETUP and made a backup, you can open the patcher and click 'Restore'.
If you don't have the backup, delete the file 'Subnautica\Subnautica_Data\Managed\Assembly-CSharp.dll', open Steam, right click Subnautica, Properties, Local Files, Verify Integrity. This will check for any missing files and download them.

New mod: Disable health bars, but color damage numbers based on health
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1296261690
A very simple mod. This disables enemy health bars, but colors your damage numbers (which are forced to be enabled now) based on the target's health fraction. Green is 100% HP, red is 0%, and the color smoothly transitions between them.
Why? Health bars (and name popups) make it difficult to hide or dodge. Health bars also make it super easy to track a target in a pack. But at the same time, it makes sense to communicate how damaged a target is in a game where a unit's health can be affected by so many factors. It's also important to see how much damage you're doing.

Re: Bases can be damaged or attacked by leviathan on ocasion
Wasnt this abandonned as it was too harsh / difficult for players ? (At least some)
Personnaly, i want that, having a reason to build bulkhead, and thinking / planning before hand.

Re: So... Subnautica is launching what's next?
So I have this idea about a great game. It's about two brothers who discover a portal into another world, a fungus infested land inhabited by infected reptiles and fungus creatures who have taken a damsel hostage. So they form a super duper brotherhood of saving the lass...
Along the way they're trailed by a docile fungus creature by the name of tadpole, who's obsessed by their brotherhood and seven reptile bugaboo's ruled by a bigger bugaboo!
It could be an unending cash cow series with titles such as, Super Bros, Doctor Fellows, Let's save the Lass or using a very original name such as "New" Super Bros etc...
Hmm, wait just one minute here

Re: I have no idea what to do!?
something you can do is to explore around the map and go deeper below 400-500 meters.
the pda may hint you that's something down below when you visit a certain biome.
