Pffff they didn't steal the idea from SN. The island turtle thing isn't something new, it's been in lore and stories for a long time now in many cultures.

Hitbox changes template.
Increased size : More consistent hit registration!
Decreased size : More accurately reflects the model!
Rinse and repeat.
The only hitbox related entry i found in the changelog:
Improved Lerk and Gorge hitboxes so there are less gaps. The proportion or size of the hitboxes remain unchanged

I always remove the cache directory on videodriver update or else it'll grow indefinitely. It also loads much faster when the cache is clear compared to when it recompiles the shaders into an already populated directory.

I am pretty sure someone stated that the railgun changes are INTERIM until the exo (also the minigun) is in a better place. And with better place I guess that means how we can achieve that not 80% of the games ending with exo trains

I don't see it listed (I might be blind). But did voice chat get removed for spectators? Very few games let spectators hear each team's comms, and it was really cool to listen to both teams as one mounts an attack and the other reacts to it.
I'm sitting in spectator as I read the patch notes, and I realize that both teams are very well organized for having no one talking.
The ability for spectators to hear each team is a server setting. Ask the admins to enable/disable it.

Lot of players getting that error after the patch due to the fixed workshop issues.
Try to delete your workshop folder, where all the downloaded mods are stored...
