I don't know where i heard this but i drove my cyclops like 500 meters down and i heard lava-like noises. Not sure it was the actual lava zone though.

It's gonna be implemented. When they first opened the trello board there was a model for the Leviathan (sea emperor)
From the trailer. And not long ago they was a creature list that featured it. Said it lived in the lava zone. -

Oooh! Its nice to see you might be working on co-op. But please i beg of you PLEASE! Don't do it if it slow the production down to much. But co-op games always had better Replayability for me so good luck!

You'll need to buy special edition. Its sad that there isn't an upgrade thing for people that allows them to get the hullplate and soundtrack if they bought normal edition. -

You only get the hull plate if you bought the special edition on the subnautica website.

Also thats kinda that "shark" creatures are (stalker,lava lizard,weird oarfish crab thing..but i'm guessing the deeper you go the more deadly they are.)

The animation. The reference to the concept art. THE GODDAMN LEVIATHAN. You guys at unknown worlds. All ways make trailers look awesome!Can't wait to see them with well....reefs on their backs.
Frankly the reefbacks are probably my favorite creature ingame at the moment.MINE! really though looks good.
