The option to turn off ambient sounds never was in the game. It was done by a mod and if someone wants to make a mod again that disables ambient sounds then no one is preventing them.

I think there are mods on the workshop you can activate that will cahnge your main menu. Pretty sure there are some static ones too. Never experimented with them myself though

@Aeglos should be 10 seconds per charge IIRC. So I think after 30 seconds a web reached maximum hardness

Bootcamp servers should only pit you against rookies and low skilled players (green and pink skill). Smurfs are obviously a thing and I honestly don't know how much of a problem it is in the boot camp servers.

Blight (the new ability) isn't fully completed yet afaik. You are supposed to gain health info with it for you and your teammates. (Remember that health bars got removed in beta aswell)

Well you can always join a team by either typing °j1" (marines), "j2" (aliens) or "spectate" into the console.

tbf I don't see many T7 players that are toxic. Atleast when I see them playing they might do some play calls but generally they don't give a fuck in pubs

I personally think it is weird that when you are on a server the I/O sign just quits the menu and not the game. I think that is kinda misleading.

I would have nothing against the IP spawn animation starting as usual but the player that is in queue can spec teammates until like 3 seconds before you actually spawn.
