In short, I'd like to say just shut up. Trust me - Brig has it under control. All you people wanted a release right now? There you go. be happy with the beta release.
Otherwise....just realize that he does know the problems with the beta model. Have patience, and you'll get your skin. Now let poor Brig work: he really doesn't need to be flooded with two pages telling him nitpicky things that are wrong with his beta model.

Now heres a question. Im having some trouble getting It to compile with 2 different skin families (one for White, one for Black), Now, the problem is that the Face and Arms are on seperate textures. Ive tried doing this:
But It just crashes the compiler.. Does anyone here know the proper way to assign more than one bitmap to a texture family?

well as far as i know this is not possible
u can only add 2 different textures not 4
well u could try to get those stuff onto the same .bmp texure file
When 2.1 comes out, are you going to add reload anims? Perhaps I should wait until 2.1 comes out before I ask you that...
Also, you've created a MASTERPIECE in under 2 weeks. You are seriously by far the most skilled person I know at something like this.
You've created model after model after model with hardly any breaks; modeling, skinning, and animating all on your own. You're a community machine. YOU KICK SO MUCH ARSE!!
You haven't created a welder, however. Which is strange because you've created basically everything else.
I love you Brig.
Edit: just tested the model. I took a look at both of them and creamed myself.
Excellent model brig, I love the futuristic/modern look, I love your incredibly hi-res skinning, I love everything about it. Great Job! I had to apply some of my own "fixes" with the helmet. But overall, i'm just awed in ur incredible skills. HOpefully you will try to make a heavy to go along with this marine replacement

Hey i started messing with that the transparent goggle you left, and i added images to the goggles to kind of give it a transparent HUD. Brig, mayb u should put something like that on the final model if you like the idea . Dont mind the pic though, i just ripped it off some reg NS buildings. (Its the idea).
hi nice model but look at i found ..... also i think this marine have girl eyes btw awesome job
the lmg needs to be resized, which can be done in hlmv, but im unsure about the arms tho...and yes, the guy has girl eyes
One thing Id like to say Is that By releasing the test models, I wasnt asking you guys to post Bugs.. Its unnecissary. As youre probably aware, the fact that there were Test models means that there were Testers as well. And All the Bugs you guys have mentioned were already brought to my attention.. And yes... they do kinda look like Girl Eyes...
First off The legs look like toothpicks ingame. It loos like the marines are scared. The upperbody is so buff or sticks out makes legs look like skinny fish.
Also i found somethign weird in the RR. Might be bug in NS. Ill post it in a sec.
Bigbull do i have to post it again!! ITS A BUG!! TRANSPARENT BUG IN THE DLL. ANYTHING TRANSPARENT NEAR THE HEAD BONE WILL FLAT SHADE THE MODEL. Hence the skinny legs screwed up arms etc. Now please READ MY POSTS.

As in no armor maybe isnt that good of an idea. Calm down and take your riddlin.
ok, well, Ive made the legs a little bigger, But Past this I cant make them any fatter cause Then It will be disproportioned. (remember: Inch thick plate armor). Anyway, I also finally got it to compile the balck skin as well, thanks to Daza for his help with that.

do

If that dosen't help then I don't know whats wrong. I know I had some problems getting it to work on my model before...
