While I wouldn't pick on Obraxis because of the effort. I can agree that these things have been discussed in length over the years.
For what it's worth: I strictly don't care about any of the item suggested. To me, there are many things that can be implemented (or removed) without requirements like coding/scripting or being another "bait" system like badges, achievement etc. Because as long as you make these: Once the player gets the last piece of the collection, once he gets the ultimate achievement, once he has become perfect in every way... He just goes away the same. But this time for good.
It is sad to see what's burning the eye isn't even mentioned by CDT or this kind of things.
-Remove the "penis size incentives" and keep the fun.
-Make a game easy to come by. The commander qwerty/azerty issue is precisely the kind I'm thinking of. Looks like a goof to me. When you feel comfortable, you stay.
You keep talking about NS2 gameplay and how achievements affect the gameplay, but still there are 2 Wooza servers with 40 player slots. Is this how the game is supposed to be played then, masses vs masses ?
New players just join these 20vs20 horror servers because they usually have most players, and end up playing DM/Push ''tactic'' games instead of truly playing NS. Get rid of these mega servers, and bring back those max 16 slot servers for pubgames, then talk about how achievements affects the game.

Wow! I never payed any attention to NS2:Combat because when I tried it out,no one worked together,games lasted about 3 seconds,and it was just boring :I But THIS looks cool!
and since there's still ALOT I don't know about Combat,are there any changes to the Fade's blink? Just wondering cause...ya know....I like teleportation

It is basically the same game other than it has upgrades in a kinda MOBA style, kinda similar map layout as well, however without the turret towers. The maps are smaller and only have 1 CC/Hive, which needs to be destroyed. There is no commander and there are no resource towers, players get points for kills (and damage?), which can be spent into their own individual upgrade paths to unlock abilities/classes/weapons etc...

OFFICIAL UPDATE: The CDT is about to revert the game to B277 in order to have more time to investigate the latest issues that came with B278.
