I think they look a little too "busy" currently, but I'm putting that down to mostly having insignias on the chest plates. I think without those and some less saturated colours they work quite well. I'm not a fan of "ghost" having lots of emissive stripes though.
Just reducing the "shinyness" would do a lot for them I think.
just a quick example, white dragon slightly toned down and insignia removed.
This does looks better. Maybe the insignia could be put on the shoulder pad as the previous skin packs. I like 4 and 5 as they are though.

Enforcer and Pegasus is straight up the special edition 'all black marine armor' but with red lighting, which the black varients of said armor would've been greatly appreciated but I guess the specialness of having black armor is being tossed aside now.
Those skin iterations are coming along nicely. Tundra Storm and Wasteland stand out to me. Enforcer and Pegasus look too similar to each other. I like Enforcer more due to its slightly washed-out look and blood splatters on clothing. I don't think Aurora's beige trim matches its light gray parts.
It would be cool if there was a Kharaa varation with an emphasis on looking like an alien. This would make sense since the marines would try anything to gain an upper hand in combat, even if it's just a second of alien hesitation. I'm not sure what the primary method is according to the lore for aliens to sense each other, though--vision, smell, or something more innate like a hivemind?
indeed thank you all for the feedback, I added the latter 5 thanks to it! to explain further: The first 5 were supposed to look pretty crazy. All of the previous marine skins have been extremely "safe", almost to the point of being too homogeneous with each other and hard to differentiate. We also have the unique opportunity of not having to care if a skin stands out too much, because in this game you have AlienVision that nullifies any would-be advantages or disadvantages for marine skins
So, in the first five I wanted to explore the crazier side of the spectrum for skins with a lot more color and art/decals integrated in them. And of course not everyone is a fan of this, so I also made the next five, which reigned it in a bit and brought it back down closer to cannon. But I wanted all of them to be distinctly different than anything we have now, I very much wanted to avoid another dull grey/green combo skin (especially since we didn't have the option to make a new model for them, so the difference is purely the coloring).
Anyway, I'm done making mockups for now but I could always use feedback I don't know which of these will be chosen for the next DLC yet, but whatever it is will have marine, weapon and exosuit in the set.

Well @Rantology I for one love the first five mockups you made and think its awesome we're finally getting some vibrancy in the otherwise bland colour palette of NS2. I'll be more than willing to throw money at my screen should they be released. I hope if there's anything you take away from this, it's that you should continue to make these bright skins. Me and many I've spoken to really like them, especially considering we missed out on the shadow sets.

While I see the quality of the skins involved, I do believe your examples were indeed outside the normal aesthetics of ns2.
Its just to crowded. It matches nothing else in ns2.
@rantology I really like those new additions. I think the Tundra Storm one is a better approach to having more variety in a skin, having two tone armour allows you to put patterns on it without having extravagant pieces of art that distract from the model.
Certainly prefer having some lighter skin options; white dragon, aurora and tundra storm. They're different to everything marines currently have on offer which are all fairly dark skins. Hope one of those comes along first

Seems to fit much much better!
Other than that, Wasteland looks pretty neat.
