Hate Steam, but love that were one step closer to playing the Alpha!
Does this mean that the editor is now using the same engine as the game?
Or have you just plugged up some differences?
Either way WOO!
EDIT: You need to redownload it with Steam. Every new Update will automatically downloaded via Steam u can delete ur old installation!
You have to redownload, so remove your current installation.
Really liking the ability to alt tab though.
Also, performance improvements are on the way!

The spark editor is in fact present - look in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\natural selection 2" or equivalent
Great work guys, it's such a buzz to finally see something on steam!
Nice to have an "official" Steam install instead of just a shortcut. Lookin' forward to the alpha~
Restarted game, controls work fine now.
Im not even sure there are any sound files in this release, ive had a quick look and I cant see this ns2.fev file that the game is trying to access :(
sounds like a yes. It just means they have to get the work done by thursday night :D
