Couldn't resist the deal, came at an opportune time. I had put down NS a while back due to hecktic life, was reminded of it and how I had even donated for constellation way back. Saw the deal and was like "I so can't resist that."

I had been watching Overgrowth for a long time and had been hearing good things about Natural Selection 2, then this deal popped up and it was like a dream come true!

I guess I bought the game again??? Since I already bought OG before the pack.

Leap of faith for me actually. Never played Natural Selection or Lugaru, but i am willing to try new stuff. I was always a pionir in trying new games before my friends buy them, so if this is any good you are guaranteed to have at least 5 new copies sold.

I am a bit sceptic about console support (if i read it right), because there are usually a lot of compromises taken and i really hate consoles in general - they are on the way to destroy PC gaming for good. Hope this does not happen with NS2.

Anyway - looking forward to try this (hurry up ;) )

I got the organic indie pack, it's like you pay for natural selection 2 SE and getting overgrowth for free :D anyways i can't wait to learn how to use the editor and start making good stuff, and the black armor will be a bit odd, any chance i can change it for suicidal neon orange? :P

I bought NS2 to play with a friend, because it seems really good, overgrowth was free, blackz armor zomfg (which probably won't be THAT rare :D), to support indie dev (70$/€ games... yeah...) and 40$ was not that expensive when converted to €uros.

I did it cause I love the game, and dream about playing it. My computer totally sucks tho, so much I can't even use the editor yet, so most likely can't play the game anyways *cries* Oh well, still got it. Maybe can play it in 5-10 years when/if it comes out and when/if the comps in that time are cheap and more up to date then the one I using now.

I must say, I'm rather confused about the pack site tho, it said "Instant alpha access included." but it's well, lacking a tad.
A guy on another forum said I should check my e-mail but I haven't gotten any new messages.

I bought NS2 because I was there when NS went live some, what, 7 years ago? And I was helping on playtesting, and it is some of the best Co-op gameplay I've had ever. I think first with Left 4 Dead did I experience something vaguely similiar to this.

Good to see many old faces I remember.

because I thought NS was an awesome and innovative game ... always wanted to become constellation member but just never got around to it ..

so I m contributing to their efforts, in the hope they will release a game just as impressive as the first was

Just pre-ordered. Wish I coulda grabbed the bundle, but I guess I'll have to go without. :( I'd rather all the dough go to UWE anyways.
  • PatoPato Join Date: 2010-01-19 Member: 70225Members
Got it. Support for the indies since the big guys are screwing PC players left and right.

And hey Tephra, nice to see you here too from the BC2 forums.

I bought the Standard Edition because I'm a cheap ass and I'm not too picky what i get. SE is good but wouldn't want to pay that much for Standard Editon. But im good the one i bought.
  • TheGivingTreeTheGivingTree Join Date: 2003-01-09 Member: 12070Members
Special Edition - Mainly because I can't wait to play it and be apart of the alpha phase, being able to help them create. The black armor was just a nice bonus, and playing marine exclusive, I will make full use of it as well.
