Run Steam as Admin, then try verifying the game files. If that doesn't work, try deleting the folders located within [steam install location]\steamapps\common\Subnautica\Subnautica_Data\StreamingAssets\SNUnmanagedData\Build18, and verify game files …

If you're doing familyshare, make sure to log into the account that owns the game. Does the soundtrack show up for purchase on Steam? If so, contact Steam support and maybe UnknownWorlds too.

Try switching languages, maybe the issue is with the translation.
If that doesn't help, maybe another reinstall.
Restart your pc before uninstall. Otherwise, some files may not be deleted.
After uninstall, check to make… -
Last I heard, the VR version doesn't support VR controllers, just keyboard/mouse or standard controller. Many players suggest the VR enhancements mod, https://www.nexusmods.com/s…

Last I heard, achievements were only disabled until you exit Subnautica.

Which files were recovered? You might be able to get the save working by starting a new game, and copy the recovered files into that save.
-
I thought it was supposed to be, but from re-reading the dev post, it seems to only mention free original Subnautica soundtrack for owners of original Subnautica.

It might be a GPU fan, had one go out and the graphics card started heating up, causing glitches.

@DeadArcher62 The picture from CaptainFearless was about old posts being dragged up, not the crew/passengers of the Aurora. Most old threads are best left buried, unl…

Does the Steam store show the soundtrack as available for purchase? If yes, contact Steam support.

@Grey_Dragon it may be worth rolling back your graphics driver to a previous version.

Try finding the save files in your Steam folder, and delete them there.

Have you tried changing drivers for your GPU? The newest isn't always best.

@noodles__666 Try clearing your cellscache, directions in my signature.

Early access of a game always ends at v1.0, but the Steam version of the games has an "experimental" mode where you get to test new patches. (from games library, right-click the game, click properties, then betas, select experimental)

@karyonite I think you have the timeline confused. The seaworthy update added cloud saves, then the developers found issues, made this post, and disabled cloud saves. Th…

@Rathic They probably aren't going to add that, as it would probably need reworking their whole save system. If you're on PC though, there's a few autosave mods. in Suggestions Comment by narfblat May 2021

@WestinZhang run the game as admin, and try the launch option -force-opengl
If that doesn't work, make a new thread for your error. (it should let you by now)
@Sir_Travelot try running Epic as Admin, and verify game files. Also try making a new shortcut to the game, especially if you're on Mac.Very nice.If you're on pc, there's 2 things I recommend trying when anything goes missing:
1. Verify game files.
2. Make a copy of the save, then clear cellscache, see my sig for more.I got that odd click back in early access, probably when they first added sprinting. The mod gives you an option to only use 4 cores, which may be better for Subnautica. Essentially, the game spends more time splitting the tasks than is saved by the extra cores.@Skip2myKill The only option is to ask discord for a refund. If it's been too long for their automated refunds, try contacting customer service and see if they're will…(Quote)
The Original Subnautica is completely separate purchase for all platforms, so I can't imagine it being any different for Below Zero. Any kind of cross-platform game ownership would probably require a deal between Valve/Sony(and for…
