Could not agree more... I was only against spawning more open nodes for Quartz. Since well the map is going to enlarge and there is already a ton of it in the shallows to build mini city bases.. Also and more importantly the world… -
Just happy to see the team is still committed to "your actions affect the world" concept. I think that tied with this type of theme and atmosphere, really makes the title stand out from the crowd.

There is no problem.. Sheesh you guys do realize this is a test map and the live map with be 4 times larger or more per bio.. More than doubling the amount of resources you find per bio.

interesting.. Quartz is easy for me, especially at night. But the most I found was in the shallow cave systems. Some of these caves you need to use floaters to remove the large rocks blocking the entrance. Once inside I find ton of Quartz and copper.

Deep cave diving I use charge and do not require the speed, have ship for that anyhow plus down there is dangerous creatures need my defense weapons … -

My First Cave base. Small but efficient for deep cave diving.

Reaper or any animal that size should be instant kill. I am hoping they will have upgrade to ships to allow for electric shock attacks to anything that grabs your ship.. A defensive weapon, you can charge your hull but loose extra power doing so.
