This is what happens when one "plays" a game that is in a testing stage instead of actually "play TESTING" the game and providing meaningful feedback in an appropriate manner. -
There isn't enough content in the world to satisfy sitting at your computer/console for hours/days on end. Whether that be in Subnautica, or otherwise.
If you find a lack. Step away. Do something else then come back to it. If you are… -
Mid-compact with an eye toward environmental aesthetics. I farm resources from multiple biomes so that I am not "strip mining" as it were. 3/4 corridors a cross, or T unit. 1 MPR, and Moonpool. Water filtration unit until I have several lockers …

They are all more aggressive. Breeders in particular are over aggressive, and IMHO need a look at their damage table.

I harvested silver from one of those. Hollows and all. Didn't trade a bit of health. -
I built on that very spot in my first save game. It was a single room on a foundation. I called it a repo point. Used it to explore the immediate area. Came back from a swim one day, and it was totaled. I wondered back then if it was a reefback.

Oh yes the noob experience. This is why I limit myself to an hour a week. That is the closest I can get to the original noobishness. -
Ok I can see that.

Not a bad idea. I wonder though. I would think that everything(fragment wise) that we have to find would be readily available on the Aurora. That would put a kink in the way things are already set up.
I do like the idea though.. -
The ability to recharge even 1 battery at the life pod would be great. I dislike the sea glide so I swim everywhere till I can build a 'moth. One less battery. Still have 2, or 3 to deal with in the mean time.

Someone remarked above that the stillsuit was removed. I know it is still in stable. I figured it was removed from experimental.
-
Also don't take a page from my book, and forget to craft fins! My last 3 games I totally forgot. Could not figure why I was not pulling away from things with teeth. Or running out of air at the bottom of a dive.
-
I did not know that the stillsuit had been removed. That was one gizmo that was actually useful.

For me it boils down like this. Was the lantern fruit portable? Melons Chinese potatos? Nope. We're we able to cook them? Nope.
Extended forays in the Cyclops? Sure if... at the point that I have gotten to I still find little util… -
If I get around to it. I name them after my wife.
I don't always build a 'clops, and don't always remember. When I do though. -

Uh not so much. Not only do they not break, and disappear but if dropped at 0% they tend to show back up in inventory. -
Rockets would be horribly inefficient. Now if the propulsion/repulsion cannon idea could be jiggered, and adapted to the seamoth. It might possibly give the impetus to broach. Now would it have the juice to keep a moth airborn at 2-10 meters for 3…

I've never made the perimeter defense upgrade. Generally just avoid reaper locs like the plague. May have to give that a shot. So to speak. -
I will just be content with seeing the next update. Much less 1.0.
-
Definitely would need a burst mechanism to broach the surface enough to be free. Great idea!
-
I just simply swim. Even with basic fins you do get to where you are going. I used to make a beeline to the 'moth, but in recent builds I have waited longer. My pace has slowed, so I am more deliberate in where I go, and what I do.

Man is my German sorely lacking. I did get cookstation. Differentiated recipes would be nice. A way to cook the flora, so it doesn't go bad within m8nutes of picking it would be great. -
I get the sense that it has eased up a bit. Of course I rarely chase fish for food anymore, but when I do... Sushi anyone?
-
Right
So what happens when we fall/jump off. Gotta work that just right to land near the 'clops. Or, I guess it's worth getting eaten once, or twice. -
I would imagine that a "larger" room would specifically mandate reinforcement. As it is now we can get away without reinforcement as long as the base components are.
A. On foundations.
B. A few, and not many.

If...
Only folks realized this is all moot. The sheer amount of time jockeying to be "right". It's a game. There won't be weapons, and we all will still play/test this game. -

You are right. Defensive measures/item(s) would not be totally out of place. That being said... the method of suggestion. Tone of suggestive commentary. Outright hostility in some cases. These things are totally out of place. … -

I've always thought that finding the "emergency" nutrient bars/water would be beneficial. Water obviously in the chests near Aurora, but never food items.
Plethora indeed. Good stuff.
Oh yes a razor! Our guy needs a shave.
