While the idea is fair, I am sick of making the Flamethrower disable everything.
Looking at the list Uncle said, it is crazy. At this point a buff needs to be tied to a new ability, not tacking another feature to the Flamethrower. -
The system works well expect for commanders, as I never feel like my skill changes to any real degree on a win/loss.

Making the Protoss for NS2 was a thought experiment for me. Basic thing is Protoss has a shield bar on top of normal health bar. Shield takes 1 damage from everything, heavy to light. Recharges fast after not taking damage.

Well, it might be true that Skulks can get in the way of bullets, but blowing up a Skulk removes a lot less DPS from an Exo than it does an Onos... and besides, there is that whole fire time thing.

Because Onos have 0 splash and they tend to missfire on random MACs and Marines. Tis one of the most rage inducing things and Exos tend to have better positioning that getting ganked instantly.

NS1 plays endlessly better than NS1c. This is about 90% because Dragon wants to use the worst feeling movement possible instead of just porting NS2 movement and leave everything else NS1.
