Agree AND Disagree. It's true that, as already seen in other posts, you don't need proper mod support for mods. But it would make thing more accessible for people which aren't so dedicated in modding/subnautica and make the process… -

That's why they did the dead zone. First of all it makes it more belivable than a invinsible wall, and it allows you too easily add some biomes, just by cutting off a bit of the dead zone. -

This would be awesome, but almost impossible to implement in the games current state. Would probably take a full year after 1.0 if they would add it, and this feature alone would be twice as big as the past updates. -
Surprisingly, there are some mods already out there, mods would create endless possiblities when There is a reliable source to get it (steam workshop, Nexus mods) and not adding mod support would be bad in every angle. Mods keep games like subnautic…

Like some kind of Robot crab(Like in the bases, just bigger) that is like a prawn just faster, and "sticks" to the floor so it can't ascend or fall down and can climb up walls. Would also have two arm slots.

Mountains and dunes don't have much to offer and are far too dangerous, especially dunes. Grand reef also has the benefit of many important other biomes in the region and a lot of resources.

It would be only good when inplemented as a boat instead of a sub. The exact same concept, just that it floats and can't be submerged.
