Could seem like a useful idea for pg clutter, the res from selling it could probably do you more good though. Marines are fast enough they should be able to cover the adjacent rooms with just running if the pg is in a tech point room.

Main problem I see with the trapper is while the rines would have to enter the dome to damage the onos or whatever inside, the rines can just all line up and kill the onos once it ends.

No, gorge tunnels are just a straight line, since they travel both ways. PG (I think) only gets pointy lines when there are 3 or more active PG since they travel from first to second to third and back to first.
