I'm playing experimental (build 31674) and it seems like everything just got a LOT more aggressive and numerous. Everywhere I go past the safe shallows and there are packs of sandsharks and stalkers, all of whom charge me the moment they lay eyes on…

We also have to take into account the accelerated time scale. And before you get your flamethrowers out, I understand that days are different lengths on different planets, I actually paid attention in high school. But given our water consumption rat…

Hence why I started talking about the possibility of a "dive suit." The suit that we are wearing seems to be one of those multi-function crew uniforms that can work a limited survival suits that sometimes appear in speculative fict… -

Fair enough. My post was based on misreading somewhere, so I thank you for that correction. Have an awesome for being polite about it, too.
I won't have a chance to dive into the game for a while, so have you seen if yo… -
Seriously? Look it's not coming any time soon, if at all. We've stuck a fork in it, it's done. Continuing claims that Subnautica "must" have multiplayer will not change that. If you're that hard up for multiplayer survival, then play one of the thou…

The tank capacities are being doubled, I'd like to point out, so that tank in that paper doll slot is equal to two in the inventory with the old system.

According to this very poll over half of the players here only use 2 tanks… -

Actually, I know someone who had a picture of Stephanie Swift that only showed her face. -

Even more reason to have the ability to take every copy and pin them up all over my bases. My survivor is a very lonely individual to whom holefish are starting to look good. in Who is she? Comment by Aegil April 2016 -
I have had this happen and it seems to be linked to the height of the base. If you've noticed, sometime your depth indicator will flick between two values. Sometimes that happens when you are sitting and this seems to cause the flickering icons. I c…

Hmm. Well, I find this more than a little annoying, but I suppose that it actually makes the stasis rifle something that I'll use now. Before this, I was generally able to avoid most of the predators out there so I'll just have to get used to this n…

Well, I just played a little more and did some testing. I'm finding no evidence that the stalker is stealing the knife in that the knife simply disappears.

Although we then get into the screwy damage and temperature in the game. It's always bothering me that I'm being boiled alive in seconds by temperatures that I endure in real life for hours, and indeed, don't find particularly uncomfortable.
I kind of like this, but I've been thinking about why we don't have to worry about decompression. I think that it has to do with this being an advanced, space faring culture where you may be called upon to deal with pressure differentials on a rathe…(Quote)
Now all I can imagine is some Demon-Engine that's fused with a Reaper Leviathan.(Quote)
Seed the area with a few gravity spheres in strategic places and they'll hoover up enough. As long as you can set up multiple builds at once, I'd be down with this.Actually, those aren't self-charging batteries. The lifepod comes equipped with a solar cell system. If you check your pod's power at night, you'll notice that it's not charging.
But as for the rest, YES! They're nice little decorative t…With regards to the air tanks, the Devs are already planning on adding another slot to the paper doll to specifically hold an air tank, so that your first tank doesn't take up inventory space.(Quote) 1. All of your posts (at this time) have been made in this thread.

3. The…I think that it may be worse than that. I think that it's possible that the people in this future envisioned by the game don't learn in the same way that we do any more. There's a reference in a data download from one of the PDAs from the pre…(Quote)
I don't know about Tiiane but I typically only need the two. After that it's just a matter of triangulation, but I have to admit that I did pretty well in orienteering when I was a kid.(Quote)
Which is, of course, the reason behind you starting up this thread.Or maybe the magnetic cyclops dock will encourage us to actually build "refueling" stations around the place that utilize the power source of our choice? It's currently listed as a part of the "making the cyclops relevant" ticket in the roadmap, whi…Personally, I think that it would be nice if the poster in question was acquirable in the same manner as the Natural Selection II poster.Ah. So I'm guessing (note that I said guessing that the reason for the fragments inclusion at this early juncture is to test their distribution before implementing scanning and blueprint acquisition.Yup, just happened to me, too.Okay, given this comment, a major change to the bio-reactor's implementation is due soon, and I'm not just talking about how it and the nuclear …(Quote)
Why add more than one feature? To do so reduces the value of the Seamoth, which we saw when the Seamoth was introduced. The Cyclops was already a bit of a beached whale before that, but now it's next to useless.Rather than upgrade modules, which might be difficult to implement as it's carried equipment instead of a true vehicle, perhaps using the modification station instead? Have a Search-Glide, a Speed-Glide, a Power-Glide etc...
