Kharaa juggernaut close up, but Im not done with the body....it'll be a surprise....
Too bad the colouring didn't go too well, was going for the Onos Fade hybrid, with black carapce shell casings and red veins, and well.....you pretty much get how hard it is to get the thing coloured right.

Though, <b>I would like to suggest a new alien here</b>. If someone who can draw would like to take a shot, be my guest. It looks like a combination of frog/venom-alien-spiderman/licker and some Kharaa touch on top. It's not very big, maybe 20-25% more weight than Skulk has. A little less health than Gorge has.
It is called Rana. Rana is spanish for a frog, and was dubbed this buy a hispanic marine who was among the first who encountered this creature, and called it Rana for its' frog like nature. In the Kharaa evolutional tree, it's between Lerk and Fade. It costs comparably.
This alien has powerful legs, so it can leap a lot. However it's legs are so twisted on bouncing, that it can walk very slowly. It more like crawls forward, hence leaping is its basic movement, so by pressing the jump key, this creature bounces with incredible force at the direction you are facing. It doesn't take energy but there's a 1-2second cool down between every leap, so for marines it's easiest just to wait for the creature to leap and shoot when it lands. Ranas often are caught jumping from ceiling to wall to floor like it wouldn't matter on what surface it jumps, it can grip to it like Skulks. However Skulks' leap is far less poweful and is not capable of jumping from wall to wall so easily as Rana.
These are Ranas attacks:
1) Tongue. Rana shoots out its' powerful tongue and it wraps around a marine. Marine is unable to move or shoot, but is dragged slowly to Ranas reach, where it kills the marine automatically. Luckily Rana can not move either during the dragging/chomping process, and this is a good time for other marines to shoot the creature. All lonely marines fear Rana, as it often waits above doors and grabs marines with its tongue when there's no other marines to help the rambo. HAs are strong enough to release their hands quickly and are often able to shoot the alien before it can bite them. Ranas Tongue attack is also fairly good against jetpackers. (this attack has been already coded in opposing force, no extra work needed)
2) Sonic wave. Like often frogs do, also Rana likes to keep sound. When Rana screams, it releases a powerful highpitched sonic wave infront of Rana that affects about 6meters away. This sonic wave passes all marine material and deals 25dmg. As if this wouldn't be enough, this awful sound vawe often breaks small blood-vessels in marines ears and eyes. This causes their vision to become red and lose their hearing for a short moment. Popular tactic among Ranas is to jump infront of a marine squad, scream, and escape before the marines can even open fire.
3) Wasp. This Ranas ability is rather interesting. Rana grows a small Wasp inside him and releases it from his mouth. After this scientists have gathered that the Wasp doesn't actually have any will of its own, but it's actually controlled by the host-Rana through bacterium. Rana apparently sees via this wasps eyes and is not aware what happens around its actual body, rendering it helpless. The bacterial network can keep the wasp alive only for 10-15seconds, which after it dies. However in this time Rana can do extensive scouting and attack marines with this small, agile and fast wasp. When wasp hits a marine, it causes a small chemical explosion inflicting 30 damage to the poor marine. This ability requires quite a lot of energy.
4) Primal scream. It appears that Lerk has lost its Primal scream ability and Rana has gained this instead. Lerk currently has bite, spikes, umbra and spores and Rana can now enjoy screaming Primally around. Naturally Primal Scream helps other aliens and user itself greatly.

i just want a new kind of parasite that turns a infected marine into a walking infantry portal for aliens... they basicly chestburst out of the marine.... wooohooo can you feel the paranoia?! whos infected? maybe the spawning could get a triggerevent... the alien that is next in the spawncycle gets a 60 second view from the 1st person view of the marine.. he cant controll the marine or anything...but when he presses the firebutton he can hatch out of him... otherwise he hatches automaticly after 60 secs.. the marine should not know that he is infected with this parasite.. lol.. sounds fun

Looking quite good, yet a bit too skulk-ish. I think you should rework the claws to look a bit different.
Also, this creature should have a "bounce" attack, ie a hive ability that allows it to leap into a wall, then jump right off it in the right angle (like a rubber ball would).
