And now you dare mocking us for a similar situation?
Anyway:
The English team suffers from one huge problem.
You have one lead player (rooney) and the rest is just wrappers. Thats just a bad ratio. 3-4 lead players and 6-7 wrappers on the field can work out nicely. But just passing the ball to Rooney and hoping he can outplay 4 defenders? Cmon!
Lahm is the only superstar in the German team. Schweinsteiger, Ozil and Podolski are almost as good. The others are mediocre at international level.
England are in the same situation- Rooney is the only superstar, but Gerrard, Lampard and Terry and Ashley Cole are also good players.
The difference is the German team comes together very well where as the English players are incompatible. Gerrard and Lampard have never dominated the midfield as they do for their clubs, our defense was disgraceful and there was no pace or width in our attack. The 4 midfielders we put out today (Gerrard, Lampard, Milner and Barry) are all central midfielders.
None of our players are currently superstars. The only one who would have qualified was Ballack, but he was not able to play due to an injury.
Our team is overall pretty young, but they actually play as a team. Although I would expect more situational awareness and less egoism from Podolzki. Basically I want a second Müller.
Let's face it: Even if a bad referee decision hadn't cost you a legitimate goal, you would still have been soundly beaten by the better team. You should have asked your old pals the french for some pointers. Maybe a couple of handballs could've helped you reach overtime so you could have lost on penalties instead?
No WAIT, I've GOT it! You should've asked for the U.S. team to be let onto the field. I mean, that's what you normally do when you can't make it on your own, right?

Ok, before we go all off topic: Here, the word football. It was called soccer at first: http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/20...he-word-soccer/
Now, moving on. Some insane games so far. I'm predicting a Germany win as their bandwagon seems to be growing nicely :D

Oh, yes, he did.
It was a good match. The goal should've counted but overall germany was clearly the better team.
So: 4:2 for Germany.
It's happening people.
Fun match to watch.
FIFA "Our game is fair play" yet they have shown us all that cheating pays off
seems like we crushed Argentina.
I am not quite sure what to say
4:1 England
4:0 Argentina
Whats next?
3:0 Spain
