    What?
    No!
We have to care about our country!
And obviously the best way to demonstrate that is via our National Pastime!

    or something.

Yah, sorry, I'm done, got no more.

how's the world doing in that world cup thing?

I dunno, I think they got done with the preamble or something. Honestly, why would I care about this when my national team can win at ice hockey and piss off Finland instead?

Green, Robinson, Seaman, James- all our goalkeepers make collosal mistakes in games. Just wish it didn't happen against the U.S. who didn't offer much that game =s

It's just the round robin phase, there's plenty of time still to be first, or at least second.

Isn't the most hated man in England right now Tony Haward?

Yeah, not having paid attention to this, I just found out England lost to the U.S. Well okay you didn't LOSE, but you managed to not score more goals than they did. That should count as an automatic loss, considering who you played against.

SUCK IT! SUCK IT DOWN! :D

Well to be fair, first kicking someone (yellow card-ish) and then again going after Schweinsteiger to finish the job by tackling him, when the ball was no where near your feet... It is kinda red card time, that (could have been yellow though, but the act of going after a player twice kinda validates the red card...)

To be perfectly fair, nearly all the Euro teams are fielding team with at least one major player injured. Granted, most of the US team is pure lame, but still.

At the same time LOL we tied England!!!!

Hand of Clod - Tainted Glove....

I think the rob green jokes are getting out of hand. I hope we don't let any more slip through.

Y'know, drawing a game isn't a success, winning one is. May be in America you guys were mothered in to the "taking part" is all that counts? :P

Rob Green jokes? Puzl; there's so many jokes so little time! I hear when Rob Green retires he wants to get a job as a handy man ;)

Fighting to a draw in a game that you should have lost is still some kind of victory. :)

I guess fighting to a draw in a game that you should have won with ease isn't failure either? :P

They didn't really "fight to a draw", it just sort of happened.

They didn't really fight at all. Playing hot potato with the ball around mid-field isn't going to get them anywhere, unfortunately. I'd actually like to see England do well, but that performance against USA was miserable to watch. You could see the frustration on Rooney's face towards the end where he was coming to try to play himself into the game.

Yeah, it wasn't really gonna happen. Or so I am told by people who claim to know this.

I think the power header in to your own players back (which was probably goal bound without the other player in the way) really made it sad to watch.
