although i would like to accept sheenas wish to let this tread die, i justr have to add that i like this version fa over daphistos, not that his is bad... it just dosent look "heavy" enough 'nother good model i wont get to see... *shrugs* SSAA
* Idea for the weapon switching, if you havn't already done it
If you've ever played Red Line, you'll know what I'm talking about. There was only one gun, but it "morphed" depending on if you had the ammo. For example, it starts off as a normal machine gun. Switch to knife, and the barrel sinks in and a knife pops out. Switch to Sniper rifle, and the barrel extends, and a scope rotates in. This would totally work for this model. For the "switch out" animation, you could have the gun morph to a generic position. For a "switch in" animation, the gun morphs from the generic position to the speicialed position.
So you caould have LMG as it is. When you switch to knife, somehow the end moves out of view, and a knife pops out. For HMG, another barrel could slide out from under the first, and maybe have the gun "expand" with cooling vents or somehting. For GL, have the barrel rotate around into a larger one, and the side pop out to put in the clip.
What do you think? It looked sweet in red faction, and I think it would be possible to pull off.
