We all love monsters trashing big cities, but when it happens to our Cyclops we cry like babies
so again I make this horrible and totally unsuited suggestion:
It should be impossible to get to the PCF without sacrificing the Cyclops to the Sea Dragon and the Sea Dragon should be made the ultimate submarine killer who fries Prawns and other snack for fun and occasionally eats some little lizards and unlucky divers. The only way to the PCF should be to exit the sinking Cyclops with the Prawn and walk to the PCF while the Sea Dragon tears down the Cyclops wreck.

You think the people in Tokyo (and sometimes Kyoto) LIKE IT when the Big G shows up?
Yeah, it's a virtual monster and the virtual people hate it, while the movie watchers like it. But isn't Subnautica only a game, where we can rebuild the sub? And don't we have games where it's fun to get destroyed in the game?
Although I can understand it for players that spent tens of hours for gathering together their perfect Cyclops with tons of equipment. On the other side the devs have spent so much time to create a wreck that can be revisited to regain the lost inventory.
I think they should just remove all the water, change the story, change the fish, change the planet, change the crafting system, change raw materials, and change the things you can build. Oh yeah, change the name as well.
Just when you're about to leave the planet all goes black and a voice tells you "Simulation over. Congratulations for mastering the Alterra peace survival training made by Obraxis."
Even if you discovers the diagram, before you can BUILD anything you have to extract expensive resources and exchange them as an Automated store in the Aurora to unlock the schematics.
You didn't think they would let you use copyrighted material for free did you?
I make them into Warper colors and hope they don't notice the difference.
You should make random mistakes without regular coffees, like posting in the wrong thread.
Add extremely detailed cockpit interface for all ships, all buttons have a delay as they are pushed by hand, while the mouse control the hand on the control stick, VR user must do all the pushing with the VR stick
Of course, every tools, doors and item must also be manipulated the same way, the players body must be dissociated from the head-mouse tracking with 9 buttons including distinction between strafe left-right/up-down and turn left-right/up-down
Also add stamina, player bust have cramp if they swim fast for too long
oh and when a creature attack you, it must be the kind where it grab unto you and you have to dislodge it in QTE
We would hate to think Subnautica is not fun.
(better: go all the way to the control of Octodad)
I think it would fit Alterra Corporation lore if every single tech they made had a planned obsolescence or an enforced "Demo time out".
You would use the scanner for a while and then it would malfunction and need replacing, or the Seamoth would consume more energy than before.
The Cyclops would simply lock-up the engine until you pay the copyright fee.
You could test this feature by having the knife degrade with time, wait...
All precursor keys are purple and they all unlock all doors. The Precursor bases can be done in any order. The new cost to make a purple key is 1 titanium and the blueprint is given from the start

No, easy choice. Without a universe, it's hard to enjoy beer. And there are other incredible beers out there.
We just have to have the courage to explore and drink beer.
So you go left.

It also make yer Sub Insurance go up, and makes it look like a tasty Hot Dog to all the larger Creatures.

(Anyone get the refrence? )
Add insurance companies for sub and bases with lots of paperwork
Unlike your neighbor Alterra isn't their

I love the airbladder! Early game you can dive deeper before you get the seaglide.
We have one of those already too. But property-wise, it has absolutely nothing in common with it's real-world counterpart, so:
Make lithium realistic! Super weak, rapidly corroding plasteel for all!
Exactly And better not drop that pure caesium accidentaly when clearing inventory in the ocean.....oh how I hope someone does a mod like this.
Oh no ._.
Just use a vortex torpedo on one next to a stack of vertical connectors and you have that already.
