gosh, the pyro is useless. his flamer is possibly less powerful than every class' default melee weapon. it might as well just shoot daisies. he's good vs. demomen and that's about it.

ON paper it should run it fine, but when it's not doing that annoying soundloop bug, it's either crashing my entire computer (nothing works, at all) on map change / joining server.
The 5 minutes I got on were fun, though. I also had weird crashing, but only after that crap was introduced. I disabled it and TF ran fine (until my computed exploded XD)

I was having constant sound loop crashes also but I think I have it licked after last night. Here's what I tried:
1. Running in windowed mode. I had to restart Steam after setting it because it wouldn't display right away. It looked fine after the reboot. 2. Turn off HDR in the video options. 3. Set reflections to simple in video options.
That's it. I was able to play for almost 2 hours last night without interruption. Before that I couldn't go more than a minute without crashing.

I almost got them both! I've finished Well and Granary in under 2 minutes each, too.
Scouts capture twice as fast, btw.
Also, Them: Is there a reason on Well that the final capture point captures in about 3 or 4 seconds? The layout of the map around that point makes it particularly hard to kill someone going up the stairs with anything but direct shots, and the height of the platform is enough that you can't shoot them from below very well- basically, if they make it to the stairs, they've won already. As someone whose won simply by forward-capping as many times as I have, I can't help but feel it *needs* to be a longer cap time, for fun's sake.
I tend not to always shoot the doctor, depending how weak the doctors healing target is, as doctors tend to be pretty far behind. I usually don't fall victim to spies as doc, the medigun can be spun 180 degrees and still have a lock on its target so walking backwards isn't uncommon for me.

when it comes to early capping, scouts are almost overpowered. our team decided to go scout rush on hydro last night. we had about 5 scouts. we had instacapped about 10 points before the enemy caught on and started plunking down some sentries - the scout's natural predator.

Oh, I still have yet to run into ANYONE who seems to have the same sense for Spies that I do, and I am not sure why. I will watch a spy rush past our offense when invis (you sorta show up when you touch enemies), and every one ignores them. I promptly go spy hunting, find the soldier/engie/whatever that is obviously NOT acting right and bone saw him down (I love the fact that most spies will not bother fighting back when you start bonesawing em <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />).
Admittedly, I still suck as spy and almost always die instantly b/c no one trusts me. Maybe I just keep on ending up with dumb teammates. (though having ALL of the enemy spies DOMINATED just makes me happy).

Stand on the cap to block. In our internal playtests (people that have been playing for months and months) the cap time is fine. If someone gets to this cap, a cap that's right outside your spawn with a window showing you anybody standing on it, and your cap 2 is already owned by the enemy team. That means your defense is already woefully inadequate.
it looks like there's bots in the game, but they don't have any AI... best you can do is make them mimic you move for move.
I also found out that you can exploit them to get achievements playing in a game with no one but you and bots that don't do anything =p I shall report this as a bug.

I'm guessing the rest of the Achievements will be with Portal and Ep2. Because Microsoft only allows 50 Achievements and 1000 Points a game. So I don't think TF2 will have anything else.
