Played Cutefish update on XBox for a couple of hours and it runs a heck of a lot better than it used to. Still got a ways to go but big big improvements. Well done, UWE. Not that I doubted you in the first place.

I've been seeing this for about a week now, across multiple builds in Experimental. There are other story elements missing, too, like getting the nav marker for the alien thermal plant. Those are the ones I've noticed.

Ahead slow =/= Silent running.
Ok rephrase (try going past the ghost leviathan in the bones field on ahead slow while activating silent running and he still gets you) jeez guys somethings can be understood by itself

The problem there is that you then have NO method of base reinforcement before finding Lithium, meaning new players bases would be strictly size limited.LOL, @Tarkannen. Reinforcement added to MPR is +14 versus the +2 for a Foundation. If you ask me, they should just drop the +2 to nothing and acknowledge the fact that Foundations are ONLY for decoration and should cost at most 1 Titanium each.

It's a good idea to have a Propulsion Cannon anyway because you're gonna run into Bleeders.

Yes. I haven't gotten the second Sunbeam message in Experimental. First one went fine. But ghost town now.

However I would suggest only two batteries. To me the seaglide already marks the transition from the early game to a more exploratory phase, one that will require more batteries to fulfill their exploratory needs.
I like this suggestion it is simple, it avoids exploits and it doesn't alienate new players.Personally, I feel that the easiest way would be to go "Batteries Not Included", and have your original pod contain a handful of batteries for powering of the important tools.
