Re: Any base update ?
We're not planing on adding any more content to the base game right now. This is not to say never, but isn't in any plans.
Will there be future PC updates?
This question has probably been asked 1000 times, and I'm sorry for asking this, but will there be future PC updates? I see there's a lot of focus on console right now, but I'm really interested if PC is done already, or we can expect even more content soon.
Re: Life Pod wants some attenion too and misc. Updates
I suspect the starting lifepod is limited in part so you're incentivized to build your own base. After all, base-building is a significant fraction of the game.
Re: Why do we still not have a map feature?
A map would be convenient, but it might have the unwanted side effect of making the game feel small. The devs were very clever about making the gameplay area feel vast despite its actual dimensions, and a map feature would ruin the magic by reminding you almost everything is within a few hundred meters of everything else.
Re: Subnautica Update 85 Released - Subnautica
Hey @X_pv2,
Sometimes your character receives damage when exiting the Seamoth at speed. I think this done is by design.

Re: Arctic Expansion concept art megathread
You DO have a very good point there. I myself wouldn’t complain but I know other people would (the same people who ask for multiplayer/weapons I would wager) However I’m rather satisfied with the state of the expansion as it is now. I’m really looking forward to playing it!
Re: Organised 8 vs 8 play? Welcome to the SCC.
Below are my pings when my internet is good. Sometimes I have horrible ping jitter that can add 50 more ping. 180-220 was browser ping values, but I don't usually look at the ping once I join the server. I also just moved here from a little more inland in the western US. I actually had worse pings at my old location because of such bad routing.
Yeah, so extreme west to extreme east (Russia) and you barely hit 200. My point proven, thanks.
Bad routing sucks, but somehow I don't think that's the case for Mofo.
Re: Can Prawn arm controls be used simultaneously?
Try putting them on the same button just for the sake of cheating the game to get your way

Re: Majpr in game BUG The Cyclops DEVS PLEASE HELP.
Ok, I have noticed when I disembark from the cyclops it slowly rises to the surface. I was on a mission earlier looking for resources for my prawn so I can take it to deeper depths I was in the lost river. I had my Sea Glide and I got what I needed to started to head back as I was running LOW of Oxygen also my sea glide power battery was running low. I looked about for The Cyclops and noticed it had risen very far up from my location. I am at this point getting stressed as I am going to Suffercait as I won't reach the cyclops in time. Then I saw an explosion as I almost got to the Cyclops as a Leviathan Destroyed it I lost a lot of resources on the Cyclops. Lockers of equipment and Resources at this point I also Drowned and lost everything. So I Quit the game, I later came back to the game as I calmed down to noticed I did not save the game so I did not lose anything at all. But then I did a few tests closer to my base tested the Cyclops power engines of and on and it still rises to the surface. please fix this issue as now I cant go anywhere too far and at risk for materials I cant explore to get materials in the lost river or the volcano. So I cant play the game.
I think it actually moved up because the leviathan shoved it upwards.
You also can play the game. If this bug continues, park in locations that will not allow it to rise and break. Also get better oxygen tanks, flippers, and stock up on a ton of batteries earlier.
Re: Very frequent crashes to desktop
You might also want to try and check the event viewer (start -> run -> eventvwr, or start -> settings -> control panel -> administrative tools -> event viewer (win7)).
I've had some CTD's that turned out to be out-of-memory-kills because I was running too much other stuff in the background. (Before that, when I still ran subnautica on my ol' AMD HD5750, I've also had AMD driver crashes, which also are listed neatly in the eventviewer).
