Just tested the Intel graphics. No black screen with those. So now the question is whether this is an issue with Subnautica, the engine or my cardI can't find any settings regarding PCIE ratio so I guess I'm good on that.I haven't done any overclocking but it could be that some of the software of my board does that automatically, I'll check that.
The current PSU is new. Only the card was scavenged from the old rig.
I think I connected everything properly…I used Furmark for that. The card got to 92c and then started throttling but remained stable. If it's an issue with the card it's probably something more specificI think we are at a point in the discussion were we need a statement from the devs. The stuff that is reported about the sandsharks has a taste of bug or scripted event to it. I have not encountered any of those problems except for two sharks spawni…(Quote)
That are not exploits, those are normal strategies. Going beyond the depth of your seamoth by about ~100 meter is also a basic thing to do. Also you get the first pressure compensator in the aurora, which means you won't even need …Does really nobody know that basalt drops diamond and is all over the southern areas?
Also many of the rooms that you can enter through the laser cutter are also accessible through alternate paths.I think they changed location in the power nap update. I find mine exclusively in kelp forests now.The only thing we currently might need for progression to be a bit smoother would be a signal that guides us to the propulsion cannon fragments. I had a hard time getting the cannon which delayed my trip to the aurora for a long time. Once you're in…(Quote)
Progression was slow but I was okay with it. I think most people here just don't have a problem with the slow speed of progression.
(Quote) Well, that is still close to reaper territory and without the map in your head and a compass you won't find it that quickly.

Simple: Basically all of your problems are gone. You have access to all of the tech tree, no need to eat/drink so no need to farm and you can still explore the world and take in the scenery and strange alien creatures. That is the devs office reserved for for the laziest of themI disagree with pretty much all of your points. Subnautica is still partly a survival game, handing the player everything right from the start is boring. I think you'd be better off playing creative mode instead of survival.(Quote)
A welder and maybe the fire extinguisher would be good too.It doesn't really make sense to start out with MPRs but without corridors progression wise. MPRs are necessary for certain machines (reactors, water filtration,...) while corridors aren't really necessary for anything. It is entirely possible to bui…I just got my prawn suit and still have stockpile of ~15 silver right now without specifically looking for it. Personally I never got how people could farm in the grassy plateaus. I just can't spot the nodes there.I find my silver mostly in the kelp forests.(Quote)
I can understand but still...
I think there is a limit of 10 fish per aquarium.(Quote)
At least the reinforced suit has been out of stable for a few updates now. I think it was possible to use cheats to obtain it but no way to craft it.Vinesauce on twitch is responsible in my case.(Quote)
Yes.It's currently scheduled for the September update. It is resources.assets.resS in my folder. The file is 1,44 GB big btw.
Edit:
Well, congrats.(Quote)
That because the terrain is terraformable. You can dig up the sand and can even destroy rock by ramming into it with the seamoth. All potential changes need to be saved, so that's where the size comes from.
They are indeed wo…I have googled a bit. This seems to match your error description. Try it and tell us if it worked.I hate to be that guy but the devs aren't known to be very exact with the release dates and Obraxis has already alluded to that the update will take a few days more than they anticipated.(Quote)
I'm really curious to see how this turns out. Maybe I'll finally have to manage my seamoths power supply
