Video games are toys. We don't need any more plastic products that will just eventually end up in the ocean. If you love Subnautica you should appreciate this, because in real life our beautiful oceans are dying and it is entirely our fault…

i was so ready to launch the rocket that I just typed "good luck" and put a bunch of tools in there. can we go back to our saves and leave some more time capsules?

how do I check? I got it pretty early on. I have one of those pre-order plaques

if a game crashes and has bugs it is bad quality. it doesn't matter if you enjoy the game or not the quality is measurably bad. how many crashes and how many bugs is just one of the metrics, but it is a clear example. another example would be loa…

Just wanted to say that I think crafting times are a bad idea. How do you decide what arbitrary time is best? 3minutes? 10 minutes? 1 hour? I think crafting times arent just unfun, they actively get in the way of fun. Make the materials harder t…

Testing a game in early development is different than playing the final product. If you want to be surprised by this game, just wait until it is finished and then play it.

That's a great idea Romero. An underwater greenhouse!

The top one is my favorite. I want to see the ocean!!! Also, Seamoth needs more glass too.

I like the idea of having to sample every creature's DNA. It makes you have to interact with the animals and learn how to get close enough to get a sample. Late game is finding the deep/rare/dangerous creatures.

I agree. The forum is finally getting pretty active and with all the new features there are more opportunities for bugs.

Coop/multiplayer is the only thing that will get my friends to buy a game these days, and I think many people are in the same boat (submarine?). Games for us are not just about the actual game, but spending time with friends.

I agree with most of your thought process misteryoon. Don't let that guy bother you, I think he's just worried the game would become another linear fetch quest game without much freedom or exploration.

Agreed, good ideas.

Cyclops is awesome. I hope we get the ability to add more windows. I want to be able to walk around and see out all of the sides. Also a living area.
Docking the seamoth is really fun in Cyclops Submarine Released - Subnautica Comment by Norton February 2015 -
I agree that starting with starting some supplies is a good idea. And personally I also think thirst and hunger should not go down in your lifeboat. I don't want to always feel like I'm losing ground.

Maybe some creature that has camouflage like an octopus/cuddlefish?

My suggestion is... Baby animals!!! Every creature needs to breed!

Yeah i think this would be best. Gives your base a safe feeling and prevents worrying about savescum nonsense that is immersion breaking.

Coop would be the #1 best feature that could be added for me.
