Umm... they're more than likely going to port it to console. The base game is complete, just has a few bug fixes to work out. Also achievements may be added. The devs themselves aren't working on the update, it's another developmen… -
I’d like this idea. It would be cool to see dangerous fish like stalkers and bone sharks protecting their babies, and would also make picking up eggs a challenge.

I'm not sure if Subnautica is compatible with other controllers. Many popular games are, but Subnautica isn't. If you really want to play it with that controller, get Subnautica on Xbox. -

There's a lot more coming out soon. Xbox is being released around the same time as PS4 (which will be sometime around Christmas, maybe a bit before)
Also, in early-mid 2019 we'll be getting a new Arctic DLC. -
