Your cpu is good enought (i7 2.80Ghz), buy a Radeon 7850, geforce 660 or similar (~140 €) and NS2 will run well.

Your graphics card ( Geforce gt 230) isn't powerfull enought to run NS2 properly, if you have a laptop then, well, game over man, if not, buy a decent graphics card.

The map is awesome, very close to the classical Eclipse layout, though much more detailed and complex.
The rain effect in marine start is gorgeous, and the main menu with that mixed ns1&2 theme music is also fantastic. Good work

I'm using an AMD 6850 and I get framerates above 60. In heavy combat situations might drop a little bit but it's perfectly playabe.
Your CPU must be relatively powerfull as well, a 4-core 3ghz at least.

Stab should be like Focus ability in NS1, you hit fast and then must wait 2 second to recharge and hit again.
