This has been going on for a while, but it is still present in the Eye Candy Update (steam content BuildID: 2348287)
What else can I delete? Where do I look? Haaaalp! -
Lockers are OK, both in your base and on the Cyclops. The suitcases are also OK. It's just the floating containers that are wonkydo - it looks something like the contents aren't being written to a permanent cache, so when the cell is unloaded from m…

I'm still having this issue, although it has been reduced to just being unable to pick up bleeders or cave crawlers when I'm inside anything. Cave crawlers on beaches or on the exterior deck of the Aurora can be picked up, as can bleeders in the Kel…

Yes well, the official word from people playing the game is that it doesn't work as it's supposed to :P
-
I've reported this previously, and seems to still an issue in Experimental.
-
You know, I had a drastic drop off in the number of wonky wrecks after I cleaned up my savegames (I kept creating new ones with new builds...) That could have been coincidental with the fix, but I'll keep an eye on it. If it starts happening again, …

Same problem; been happening since build 43936-ish too
-
Same issue in todays various experimental builds. Won't pick up bleeders or biters or cave crawlers either, which was very distressing.
-
Had this bug too (reported it in game). As a work around, shutting down and restarting the game seems to have shook some sense into them.

For clarity, my sound worked two hours ago (I started playing about 4 or 5 hours ago, not sure what build). Then I shut down the game and got lunch, and got build 43951 pushed out while I was AFK. Then, no sound. So this is recent.
-
I'm in build 43951 and I have NO sound.

By the way, I'm pretty sure it didn't follow me - unless it was stealthy ninja-like and has a great sense of timing. I didn't hear it or see it at all on the way back to the pod, and I stopped to pick up things like quartz and peepers on the …

It's an indev game and you're beta testing. That's what it's like

Couldn't get it to follow me - it really seems to think its new home is the life pod. Oh well. Killed it, and thankfully the corpse despawned quickly. I was worried I'd have a giant monster draped all over the scenery ruining my fung shueiI cleared the cache and I can look at (and enter) my base again. I don't actually have a problem with terrain intersecting my base (a tendency to build off the side of a cliff and then dismantle bits) so I haven't bothered with restoring the batch. …Savegame finally finished uploading! https://1drv.ms/u/s!AqTWbM9NKFyOq1ZRKN2Mz4YrCgg3I can't do the cache clearing, as I can't approach my base to figure out which batch(es) its in without crashing. I'm uploading my savegame, but wow, that's huge. How long do I have to leave it uploaded?I've had this issue come up, usually when interacting with lockers (wall lockers and regular ones, never Cyclops lockers). I can usually get out of it by backing up as far away as possible from the lockers, sliding sideways until I'm not pointed at …Crashed again trying to get back to my base again (from a save before I even went into the bugged wreck)
