Shattered Horizon is fully 3D including strafing (really the first game to do it was probably descent, but that one you never attached to a surface so no realigning camera ever. It did have a "right your view" button though, which rotated the camer…

Maybe you don't get how f2p works, but what will happen is the following:
- Free ns2 will be filled with næbs.
- (Most) paid veteran ns2 players will commence a great and stackular næb harvest on free ns2, even though t… -
How difficult it is to aim effectively makes NS2 great as well. The strategy in NS2 is pretty weak, compared to dedicated RTS, so what makes it great is the combination of strategy and good fps meaning also challenging.

Lol, to see my name mentioned and all the memories xD . I like playing devil's advocate so there you go. Imbalanxd was indeed entertaining until... didn't he get banned... probably too "far out" as far as criticisms go anyway.

This won't get much traction, but I'd also like the damage numbers to be removed ;-) . Just the little red hit indicator left.

Just logged in to comment on the terribleness of that chart.
The proper, unbiased chart starts at 0% and ends at 100% on the vertical axis.
To put 3.5% in perspective, if you went shift hive 30 times, you would win on average… -
Rebuilding power nodes, lol... you have to be joking, I hope.
The elephant in the room is a 1300 hive player who should be 2500 coming in as a fade and clearing out a room of 5 marines who are at 1000 and should be at 200 who deal a comb… -
The problem in pubs is pretty obvious, and it's stacking.
For "good" games you have to have great balance, especially in a game like this, which is really an RTS game, where the more you win the more you win, and the more you lose, the m… -

It's an incredibly stupid solution to give more lifeforms to "beginners flashing their lifeforms."
Proper "training" of said "beginners" (if they really exist) is best accomplished against other "beginners" - or some mo… -

Implement paying $1 for 500 decrease in hive score -> endless revenue stream for NS2.
The few things I have to say about hive are:
- Good players staying at 1300-1500 hive round after round when they should be 2K+ .
- Bad … -
I feel like this isn't really clear in the achievements.
That being said, (warning: rant incoming, pun not intended), kill 15 RTs in one round? That sounds pretty intense, or a really long round. A lot of rounds end before 15 RTs in to… -

Precisely the same thing that getting to Level 3 does. -
I think most people don't need to practice aiming as much as they need to practice movement (especially for aliens, but also for marines), situational awareness, target selection and focus, and strategic thought (applying pressure where it would hur…

Just wanted to come and say that I'm amazed at how horrible the current hive "shuffle" is after not playing NS2 for ~1 year.
You would think that by now, most of the player base would have good and accurate eLOLs, but no.

You'd only not want it if you're not Pro, obviously. It's clearly labeled "Sonic Radar Pro."

Lower graphics options if you haven't already. Nobody even asked about that. If on lowest options possible, you're still getting really low FPS, you'll know it's the CPU.

Black armor is currently quite an impressive status symbol for most. That's not disputable. Whether you publicly choose to acknowledge that you recognize it or not is up to you.
Whether skins are "cool," I don't know. … -
No, really, bræ? Obviously. I thought it was a little odd that he implies it only applies to marines or something :-) .

AIM (Marine)? I guess it only applies to marines? When you're a lerk or a fade, you really don't need to aim, or even as skulk... xD... -

Don't think so. Time for wasting 10 minutes+ playing a depressing loss because someone on the alien team hopes that some pubnub is in the com chair and won't see a rush, or for some miraculous comeback. Over and over and over.
For me, it's always the dick teaching people how to play and making comments like "RIP onos" from the stacked team. If you're on a stacked team, have the decency to STFU.When my Revoltec Precision Advanced wore out, and I found out they didn't make it anymore, I went to a Razer Sphex. I like the ultrathin teflon sheet "pads" (not much padding there). Basically just a consistent surface for the sensor. Otherwise, …From ball mice (Genius ftw) in the 90s to Intellimouse Explorer to Deathadders. It's my preferred shape... and the sensor on the 2013 is quite nice.

I almost expect an announcement that the HDD died, so expect a 6 month delay to build another machine and redo the work to get to where it is right now. It's a dual-punishment game, because it's an RTS and FPS, and to be good at both is rare and for most people takes a lot of time to develop. To win, you have to win both the FPS and RTS game. That's the nature of NS2, and unchangeable.
…I didn't know wings even take any damage at all? I thought anything passes through freely through them as if they didn't exist.^ this.
There are other things which make me sad regardless of which team is winning or losing, but probably one of the worst is teammates which don't react to things happening in the same room, not going in with you at all on alien side…
