I haven't timed it, but fairly reliably get the bonus drop in the early game. I usually find myself starting into the kelp forests by the time it hits.

Oculi have my favorite behavior patterns, but I just find the holefish too pretty.
Also off the list is the hoopfish. -

If I had some artistic talent, I'd be drawing a hydrosled being pulled by 9 stalkers harnessed to it with the lead one having a biter stuck on its nose. -
Another trick: if you don't feel like using up batteries but like being able to see the walls a bit, the laser cutter emits a faint glow that you can see by.

One I read in the thread below was a nomadic playthrough: you aren't allowed to build a base. In order to not primarily be a battery-building challenge, I am allowing myself to 'build a seamoth modification station in the cyclops'. I haven't decid…

A modification of my stalker-release protocol: release one small slow-moving fish (don't know if droppable items would work as well). Do a quick stasis rifle burst to immobilize it. While frozen, charge and fire a large stasis b… -
Using vehicles would make it quite feasible; without that you'd be leashed to a base / escape pod for processing fresh water and non-dehydrating food. Can you build a Seamoth Upgrade Console in the Cyclops? If not, it would be reasonable for them …

There at least used to be a really pretty cave in the mountains biome that had a thermal vent / smoker in the middle of it. Don't remember if the cave has a back-door, though. I like the scenario.
I think I'll try the… -

I don't know if they're changing the name like they've done about a lot of other things or if it's just an alternative name, but I've heard them called that before and the subnautica wiki even refers to them as ampeel now.
I did the "fish are friends" for a while and still aim for minimal impact in my recent games (breed/replace any fish I eat early on and use fruit for food/water needs).
I haven't played as much lately to notice if the spontaneous die-off…You could stasis the scrap as soon as it's dropped with a big bubble to prevent the stalkers from re-grabbing it. That's how I collect from wild stalkers fighting over scrap, at least.Cool guide. I used to do something similar until I started avoiding building anything after my initial base for fear of getting my lag problems again.
I haven't checked the ingredients and whether they'd exchange nicely, but it occurs t…My vote is to breed bone sharks expressly for the purpose of feeding to the blender.(Quote)
You can always throw whole shockers into the Bioreactor - practically get nuclear level of power out of them.(Quote)
I was intending to test it myself. Is this related to the power efficiency module or independent thereof? If it only works this way with the power efficiency module, I'd think it might be easy to only apply the efficiency to driv…Only one line of symmetry, though. I'm thinking that's just the nature of the patterning.
The symbol looks less like a guy doing jumping jacks than the reefback pattern does, to me. New game: Reefback Rorschach!I agree with preference for locked as default. It seems to me that the seamoth is sort of a hybrid between swimming (forward locked to head/mouse direction) and cyclops (forward is independent of where you're looking), and the catch-up of gaze and …I was assuming timed. But it certainly doesn't seem to be linked to anything that would make sense.True, and if it's already in its most basic form (e.g. water or titanium) or doesn't have isolatable components (organics) then it gets atomized. We can't farm the blue-glowing trees (yet).Blood Oil can be used to make benzene which goes into synthetic fibers which are used for making a reinforced dive suit. Maybe they will be used in the exosuit as well?. (I would of course like to see more that it would work in)I've always wondered about the energy-storage functions of the different generators. If you have the 4 different power generators in one base and you're at max power, and you drain off a few hundred power - which gets depleted first? Maybe there's…The lab trash should be able to handle hazardous waste and hence should have a built-in deconstructor. You'd have to do something with the atoms, so it would probably need to become attached to a wall.I actually liked the single equipped tank method. It seemed to make my plasteel tank usefully fast, and if i wanted an extended dive then I could swap them out when one emptied. Would have been nice to color-code them or something so I could tell …You have to jump a bit, but yes. There's even room to park the seamoth between them.
I wish more than just the kelp provided actual light with their biolu…I don't know when they were/will be removed but I also found one after the other specific eggs were installed. @Enderguy059 - in the inventory they take up one slot, …I did something comparable (but rooms predominated rather than corridors, like 176 of them). But it melted my RAM. Mine was in survival, though. Loaded up my sub with 68 lockers to cart all the materials.
Ah, here's the pic:
Just a note of caution: be careful if you want to make an f8 report while in your drone. When I tried that I ended up with the mouse and esc locked out and I could only move with WASD. Various modes of killing myself didn't reset it either. If you don't want to wait for the bug to be fixed, console command "item hullreinforcementmodule3" seems to work. Then to pay for it, you can just unbuild a locker containing the ingredients.
