Mine is Captain Frederick Dinkelsen from various starships that tend to blow up under his command. He is from a web comic I did a few years ago.

A few challenges I came up to spice up my games:
- Power your bases only with solar panels.
- Too easy? Build a base in Lost River under those circumstances.
- Power all of your bases using two (or more) thermo generators on … -
I usually have:
Seamoth: "Iron Peeper"
Cyclops: "Neptune", "Poseidon" or "Nautilus". I also once had "No Lead Tree".
Exosuit: "Exosuit"
My bases are called: "Seabase One", "Seabase Two" and so on. -

For you these words may be scary, but for me they sounded sweet as honey and I had one of the best days of my life. Can I counter-sign this petition?
I am perfectly fine with Subnautica being a single player game and would rather keep it that way. For me the experience it is about being ALONE on an alien planet. Multiplayer would object to this experi…I love minimalist bases, build a few myself. Actually, I usually start with one, but I do expand later on... Then, sometimes I also like to build maximalist bases when I feel like it...I think it is ok to take the large room from the starting blueprints. One can start his first base with a piece of corridor, too. While they're at it, the Alien Containment (nice XCOM EU pun btw...) and the glass corridor pieces might also be candid…Same here, the only way I can navigate the Cyclops is via the cameras. This is possible, but still cumbersome and if the environment is badly lit, virtually impossible. The glasre seems to get stronger in the night and weaker over day time.I would guess those ghost updates have something to do with translations. People keep translating and the auto builder does the rest.Wow, that came to an end rather apruptly. I enjoyed the story very much, thank you!
You have a talent for writing, you might consider following this path a bit further. Where I live we have "Peoples Universities" where you can attend all…(Quote)
That would be cool, a longer night would be ok it there was the possibility to skip it if you wanted. Like by sleeping. But I fear, since the devs somewhere said that turning the game speed to more than 10x normal speed was dangero…About the damaged battery: maybe its an advanced battery. We might still be able to fabricate a primitive battery and need a blueprint for a better (maybe rechargable) model. One of the first games I wrote was actually 3d. Well not really 3d by todays standards, but it gave at least an impression. It was one of those "find your way through a maze" programs, I had 80x25 ASCII characters and I think 4 shades of grey (defin…I remember playing a game, I wont tell its name but it was a realtime game, where the Autosave-window would pop up and brutally rip you out from the immersion. It didn't help that saving took around 10-20s in this game.

I remem…For me the problematic part of O2 supply is not the 165s in late game but the 105s in the early game when you have no Seamoth and need to go to Kelp Forest and Grassy Plains. Simply building 6 airtanks alleviated that somehow...
Since wr…Something that indicates the passing of time would be nice, but a digital watch, I fear, might be immersion breaking. Because of time acceleration every second a whole minute would pass and I do think that would disturb the experience. (And at night…There is a workaround for that. Build a storage container, put stuff in, dissolve again, done. Stuff gone.Let's all keep civil, ok?(Quote)
I think he meant seperating the power generation aspect from the power storage aspect and not seperating the 4 individual solar panels for instance. He would want solar panels - lets keep to this example - to only create power and …(Quote)
You are right, sort of, I tested it.
75m depth - 25 max power - consumption 5/craft
2m depth - 25 max power - consumption 5/craft
above water panel on foundation - 50 max power - consumption 10/craft
a…A few months ago a solar panel added 50 to a bases max power if it was built on top of the base or a foundation. But the energy consumption also doubled. Maybe that is still the case.I read somewhere that those bases will not get added to public builds until very late since they are part of the storyline the developers do not want to spoil. There is a little trick to tell sandstone and limestone apart in the Grassy Plains and the Kelp Forest:
Scan the limestone but do not scan the sandstone. (Scan = use your handheld scanner on it)
This way everytime you swim to…My, my, why so aggressive. I didn't even object to your opinion, I made a totally constructive post with a suggestion of how you can improve your game experience. I am not the one who wants to force others to his playstyle. Now I could write whole p…(Quote)
Nothing keeps you from using only one tank. Or better, why use a tank at all?
I had the same situation as the OP but it sorted itself out eventually. It was on Experimental maybe a week ago. There seemed to be 2 different fragments for the different bioreactors. After some searching I had the blueprint of the new Version. May…You could put all the videos into one thread. Makes it easier to see what belongs together. Not everyone reads the Steam forums. I for my part avoid them due to the general unfriendly tone there.(Quote)
It is usually better to restart after a big update. Your blueprints might be messed up, the terrain might change. But restarting is no big thing, we do that regularily.
Be well! Please, @DefectiveDelfin, stop posting. Its a fruitless meaningless endeavor. Even if you are right, you are still wrong.
Let me explain: Even if Bugza…
