It's also a small step towards a PS4 port. PS4, which is x86_64, reportedly runs on a modified version of FreeBSD which is also a unix-like OS.

Wow. Congratulations on the Linux build, I really wasn't expecting that. Thanks for making those big changes to help increase performance.

1. Get a hex editor that lets you search by hex (like HxD)
2. Open Server.exe
3. Search > Find (Or Ctrl + F)
4. Change "Datatype" to "Hex-Values"

Someone should start a thread where we beg Max to give LuaJIT another shot instead of wasting time on OpenGL (which I normally love). I know they said they broke compatibility when …

It's just very expensive and not needed in most scenarios. It's called "tunneling". It's when a physics engine uses discrete checking instead of continuous. Collision checks are done on "snapshots". The player's velocity vector placed them past the trigger in the next snapshot. It probably has to do with disconnectedPlayerResources which is supposed to get cleared at the beginning of a new round.

There are still bigger fish to fry. Performance (CPU) still isn't where it should be.I wonder if it is related to the old "ghost players" issue. Seems like your old player instance was still alive and you got put back into it. Maybe your old player state wasn't properly destroyed and the garbage collector didn't get to it yet.\Steam\userdata\<STEAM ID>\4920\remote\options.xml(Quote) This sadly will never happen (or maybe it could with some JIT action). I hope the babblers don't end up feeling too clunky.
