I don't get it, why would you limit such a feature to rookie only servers? Why not attach the feature to the rookies themselves and let vets choose to adopt them through the tab menu or something?
Maybe have it open a steam voice chat co… -
I just assumed that pretty much everyone who's ever played NS2 has seen the alien movies. I mean, it's a given is it not?

No Mendasp or SamusDroid?
Game over man

@IronHorse yeah, I've been playing civ5 and cities skylines in bed. From the couch I've been playing inliguia with my kid to help him learn Japanese (he's a halfbreed).<…

@IronHorse I did spend some time configuring it and I even tried your config (you published it publicly as an ns2 profile) but I think the core issue was diving right in…

Well, I certainly didn't do as good as I usually do. I think I'm going to have to spend more time on some lower paced shooters first. Support gorge was totally playable. Lerk was totally not. in So who's playing with their steam controllers tonight? Comment by 0ni November 2015

I am loosing my shit here. Won't be back at my computer until Friday night and by then this map will have gone the way of the Eclipse and Kodiak because people are afraid of anything that isn't summittramveil.

Ask Rusty to play with you. Every month or two he offers me a key asks me to play with him and every time I need to explain to him that I game on Linux. I get the impression he's pretty itchy for it too. So there you go, you're not alone.

This game doesn't need more tutorials so much as a proper single player campaign to help people understand the game mechanics in an organized and useful way. A campaign mode would be able to provide narrative in a way that wouldn't be irritating or …

You heard it here first folk. @Loki wants to gives us more "D". I'm personally getting pretty excited.
As for Kodiak, to date it occupies three … -

Dude, the game is called natural selection. Think about it.
That said, what does that make @flayra ? -
I personally have no problems with the idea of paying for mods, but it was orchestrated very poorly. It should have been up to the first party developer to approve mods to prevent copyright and plagerism issues and modders should have gotten at leas…

If it was easy sure. I expect nothing g from the CDT though given that they work for free.

I wish there were two different talk buttons and one of them only worked for people near by you.

I'm pretty confident that a claustrophobic map could be pretty easily balanced with good vent layouts for harassment and bile. Having steady access to crags and shifts is pretty epic. Do you have any idea how annoying a celery gorge with a shift can…

On one condition: You do all the work.
I'm going to just put it out there that writing a whole new rendering api into an engine hand made by an indie company that started out as modders might be a lot of work. Now that it's up to unpaid … -
I've always wanted to see a summit like map where marines start in the middle and Aliens spawn randomly at the other 4. Maybe have a lot of vents and complicated geometry to balance it. Maybe the central room is the only big room. I dunno but I thin…

I tried saying "There's oni in topo!" last night.
People just told me said "no he's not, he's in the re spawn que."Shouldn't the poll say:
Multiple Onos
Onoses
Onii
Oni
After all, the point of those other three words is to describe more than one. The shortcoming of just Onos is that it requires an extra word.Never mind mac. Ain't nobody who can afford those things. How about some linux? Run me some gtx 970 up that kernal awww yeah.I am so biased on this subject.
That said I almost never go Onos. What do you call a heard of Onos?
Me B-)Super coolSome servers deserve to be outright banned. Anyone ever played on Hyperion (not the "new" one) when it's at capacity? Just awful, after 16-18 players the red plugs just get ridiculous. Of course the server has never in it's life had any admins on it…Ready to support the moment Linux support is added. Regardless of this short coming congratulations are in order.Okay, so you need to release a new build because you didn't like the number or maybe there's a real reason that you care to explain? Right now it seems like you're just being silly. You only mention Mac support as a goal in the faq. Am I to assume that Linux/SteamOS isn't going to happen?Alterra corp. XD
It's confirmed, Subnautica is just going to be an underwater ns2 map.
