Epoch slams the lift door up button, but there is no response. Red Lighting begins to flash and several doors close automaticaly. Hissing and whining as their old and worn pneumatics sytems try to close them.* "****! We're gonna have to take the emergency ladder." *Epoch fires a few shots at a hatch in the lifts roof and it falls apart, showering you in shards of metal.* "Ok Crew, your first." *Sgt Epoch puts the palms of his hands together and gets ready to give Crew a boost up into the shaft.*</span>
<u><b>The Pelican</b></u>
Fighter 1 pulmets towards the space station. The pilot manges to eject but his ship hits the soace station, driving deep into it before exploding.

Weapons - Gun turrets and cannons. Hits here stop the Desolator from firing, the rail gun cannot be disabled. Engines - Thrusters and the main engines. Hits here slow the ship. Bridge - The most heavily defended area on the ship. Hits here makes The Desolator drift and stops all weapons fire.
Fighter 2 closes in on the Pelican to attack. Fighter 3 draws nearer to the Pelican to attack. The Desolator advances towards the Pelican.
[Your shell hits weapon turrets to the front of the ship but cause very little damage.] [You bullets manage too hit the fighter but he fires his cannon at The Pelican hitting the wing.]

i know, and if all 3 guns had a LOS on all three targets i'ld take out the last 2 interceptors and then concentrate all our firepower on the incoming desolator. put up a wall of bullets. unfortunately, thats not an option.

The ladder seems to go on for ever, but after a few minutes of climbing and a couple of near falls the team manage to reach the top.
*Sgt. Epoch checks the pocket with the mini-disk in and opens a voice comm to the ship.* "We're almost there, just hold on a bit longer." *Then he begins to run down the snaking corridors that leads back to the docking bay.* "ETA two minutes. Come on guys lets haul ****!"

<i>Several ships appear in the distance. Three appear to be light cruisers. All seem to be bristiling with guns. The rest are small frigettes and a few fighters. Without warning the larger vessels launch salvoes of missiles at the Russian Cruiser, and your viewfinders are lit up with explosions.</i>
