If The Kahraa Were Real. Today?

<div class="IPBDescription">Heres a scary thought I had.</div> Okay, we've all seen how terrible the kahraa are to kill. How swift they are to tear a limb from a Terran. Well what if scientists discovered Kahraa maybe 1 or 2 years into the future? What would happen to our planet?

Would we (America, Brittain, Japan, Australlia, Canada, S. America...France doesn't count, thye don't have any troops...And Germany, well I dunno )send marines to fight them? And if so, who do you think would win?

What would happen if we win?

    we would win. NS marines only have wimpy lmg and HMG etc.

    US would drop a nuke. Everyone else will open up with tanks, rocket launchers, .50 machine guns, anti-material sniper rifles... if the Kharaa dont have something better other than the 5 aliens in the game, my money is on humanity.

    Think about it...

    LMGs and HMGs utiliyze the stuff of the future. AKA, bullets that do MASSIVE more damage, guns that are just plain better, never jam, and the such. And yet, we still get our butts kicked.

    So that just shows it. The Kharaa would beat us down, HARD.

    Tanks and nukes would beat the Kharra down, not to mention massed fire from 400 troops or precision guided cruise missle taking out hives, or A-10 Warthogs emptying a thosand rounds into an ono before it has a chance to hope it got redemtion.

    Yeah... nukes, use them and we won't even need kharaa to kill ourself...

    And think about this, Kharaa can Almost infinately spawn skulk from hives, while marines would just die... Kharaa could be Trillions easily to invade earth, Most of hte planet would be overrun before we even knew what hit us.

    Spores would eliminate a huge chunk of population (no exisiting protection to it, we don't have HA with nanite to protect us)

    as soon as 1 hive is built, the bacteria will start to invade, no nanite, no protection.

    Bile bombs would melt your poor little tanks (no nanite)

    Acid rockets would tear through armies and tanks in no time, (no nanite)

    Lerk spikes shooting at air planes, a single spike can go through the cockpit, depressurisation, death, crash.

    Lerk umbra... No chance for any gun (since our gun are pretty primitive compared to the one in the game) to hit a alien.

    Just the sight of an onos would make most army run.(if not all).

    Gorge would have no limit on OC, DC, SC etc, nor hives.

    Must I go on?

    eh well i think a Lerk would have a mighty hard time hitting a Plane + a plane can prolly reach higher altitudes.

    its not nukes against our own planet, but nukes as they come from space O_O - well thats how i understood it.

    why would acid rocket tear through Tanks in no time - does Acid just Dissolve Steel in no time....

    and if the Kharra were real those hives would need some kind of energy to Spawn skulks so its not infinite nubcaek....

    umm...

    With that many people dying, they'd have enough res/energy to put about...oh, I don't know....give em 20 minutes(15 for mass killing, 5 for putting the hive up), and I bet they could stick down...oh, I'm guessing....maybe 5000 hives within 20 minutes. Well, if you add in travel time and evolve to gorge time...it'd be about...I'd say...half a hour to get 5000 hives, in One place. And it'd spread insanely fast.

    Thats it. I'm frickin gonna right a fanfic off of this. l337z0r. AND I CALL DIBS ON THIS! NONE OF YOU CAN DO THIS!

    They aren't going to have ANY res. We have no nanites for them to suck up.

    Besides, if Kharaa could hurt tanks, then they would be able to blow through any wall they wanted in the maps. And they can't, so they can't. I mean, space station inner walls are probably even less reinforced then tanks.

    Again nanites come in to play.

    And even if we could fight against Kharaa, we couldn't fight against bacterium. It would just kill everyone and spread like plague. We don't have anything against it because the marines in the future don't have anything except nanites.
