Yeh I'm waiting too <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> Spunkmeyer is probably 'recreating' or something it being the weekend and all.
Used to play during the open beta...and I have to say it really was quite fun, and should be right up most NS players alleys as it generally requires good teamwork to win. Can't wait to get back in, and see all the changes that have happened since end of beta <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Man, I haven't played Allegiance for years. Its simply the best game, ever, team play based, that is. It was the fun I had there that made me give NS a look.
Suggestions for helping your team, as a newbie, nanorunning. Get a scout, load a repairgun up and tag along with the bombers. Keep in mind you will be a priority target, when the fighters show up to stop the bombers. To stay alive, slide like a demented bat _around the bomber. You are faster, can stay with it while using it as a shield.
Hmm, interesting. Do you remember the name? Allegiance is the brainchild of Joel Dehlin (solap) and Rob Girling (ribski). As far as I know they are both in the PocketPC division now. The lead programmer was Curt Carpenter (dontmess), but again AFAIK he is out of the games biz as well. Kendrick Shaw maybe? Jon Grande?
BTW, for all NS/Allegiance players out there - our 100+ player big game is today (saturday) at 4pm EST! Be there! If you want an account, PM me with your nick and email address - I'll be creating accounts in the morning. It's gonna be a furball!
<a href='http://vnboards.ign.com/board.asp?brd=5049' target='_blank'>http://vnboards.ign.com/board.asp?brd=5049</a> temporarily. <a href='http://www.alleg.net' target='_blank'>http://www.alleg.net</a> links to them.
One of two things will happen in a few days: we'll either switch to real fast phpBB forums, or we'll use vnboards till AHQ goes back up towards the end of the month. Just waiting to hear from Thalgor.

Just wanted to say I'm back home, and will register all requested accounts tonight. And yes, future registration requests are still welcome.
