Build 43407 Reefbacks lag me out horrendously

I'm not sure which time it happened ( I hadn't been around them in a few days), but on Experimental, suddenly reefbacks are lagging me out so badly that I get between 1 - 7 FPS anywhere within the grassy biome where I can still hear them.
Grassy has become literally unplayable for me. My computer handles everything else fine, but the reefbacks even on minimal settings? NOPE!
I will point out that I updated my driver and it's not on this list, but please know I did update it. I waited to see if that would fix the reefbacks as well as the computer shutoff when I quit to desktop. I didn't run the dxdiag again because I had this from just yesterday.
Oh, and for the record, i tried this first, too: http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/146057/an-updated-guide-fix-crashes-lag-stuttering-and-keep-your-saves-through-subnautica-upgrades
Didn't help.

Will carry on with my new game; not sure if you fixed something or not, but am happy to be able to play in the grassy areas. In case you DID change something, I wanted you to know it worked.
Since new games as of 43415 don't have this problem, can you try clearing your cache again? I find that this tends to drag older saves at least most of the way into the newer build system. (Basically, the terrain terraforming data and resources gathered are reset, and replaced with fresh ones, which means the newer build's versions will be used).
If that still doesn't work, you probably have something constructed that's causing the issue. Could be the Seamoth, I've heard some say that removing everything from the Seamoth and parking it under 200m, then spawning in a new one helps.
Please post back your results.
That will indeed cause lag as there's several unresolved bugs with bases.

Aren't you just a treasure! Thank you, I will attempt this tomorrow and let you know how it goes.
