Im adding detail to the bones of the hand, Spikes and breed chamber now.... I will be able to animate each finger for a "f... U" gesture, the alien Teeth can snap out, and I could make a knot in the tail.

This skin should have pain animations and sounds right? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> I think this skin is gonna be very good but abit too grey-ish needs a darker color and I think that skin not the model is a rip off AVP2's Queen. I've seen that color before and It comes from the alien queen in AVP2 and in the movies the queen was darker. Just some advice don't get me wrong I'm not stopping your from making it your doing such a good job. got the left thing with not matching NS bones and made the right one. It has 120 bones now and is 90% done (details need work). Then its time to animate.

Needed to make changes in the model. Especialy the neck with that 90° knick and such... 2 changed parts need reskinning now.
There are 2 ugly ingame problems with that model: 1st: its Bigger, closer to the bottom and at some Hiveplaces some parts of the model (most times the tail) sticks in the wall. + It looks ugly in small rooms even if its not sticking in the wall (alien head is really close to the ceeling) , looks MUCH better in big rooms. 2nd: its directional looking. On some places it looks just dumb seing the hive-queen looking at a Wall wigh a large roome behind it. Therefore other hives look just great.

During some animations I saw that the model is not "ready for animation" e.g. the arm comes out of the body while rotating. Its not the vault of wrong bones, its because body parts that are not weld together.
I think you dont want an alien queen that looks like Augsburger Puppenkiste (A string puppet) while animation. Im welding them together now.
