    I would wait until you've exhausted all other options before reformatting your hard drive.

    Try updating your .net framework.

    If that doesn't work, consider defragging your hard drive (make sure your router is disabled and your printer ink is full). If none of this works, reformat and buy a new Ethernet cable.

    I would advise not doing anything excessive and just waiting. Many people have not got the DL and I somehow doubt we all have software and hardware faults.

    Remove CPU, take mobo out of case. Replace Mobo and cpu. Download will work then. :P
    Not only will the download work but you will get special Gold Marine and Ant shaped skulk. You will also have passive God Mode for teammates around you.

    So I removed the CPU and sprayed windex in the socket and cleaned it. Then replaced the CPU. My printer has full ink and i'm pretty sure my ethernet cable isn't the problem cause it's less than a month old and I paid $50 for the monster brand from Best Buy. Is there anything else I should do before I try booting it up and downloading the update?

    reset all your hardware to factory settings if you altered it. then try reinstalling windows.

    You forgot to clear the CMOS. :( Your hard drive will now corrode into a liquid which will fry your hardware. :(

    They will offer you a fee($1,000) to look at it and determine if they can or not. They will then open(5 hours labor, $5,000) the computer case. At which point they will make a decision on whether or not it can be fixed. If they tell you if it can or cannot be fixed they will charge you another $1,000.

    You guys should release the promotional/hype video even if it isn't out on steam yet. Lots of other developers do this even if it seems a bit underhanded (because they know people truly want to see it..)

    Wait a bit more, Valve seem to have fubared something and only released the server update to Steam, Max was trying to get someone at Valve to take a look at it yesterday.

    Basically, there isn't anything UWE (or anyone for that matter), can do other that wait for Valve to fix it and push the client release out to everyone.
