I was hoping his entire desk was covered in Nurf guns and air softs. Not some lame as desktop with a plastic tupper ware assault rifle picture on it. But Cory does some amazing stuff. He could make two girls one cup look good with enough photoshop.

We have been asking for that change since the speed got nerfed and armor buffed.

I think the previous nerfs were a bit too much, and there is an ideal balance somewhere between them.
So yes, but not a lot.

I've already said it on FB and twitter, but just for good measure.

Yes please.

Fast lerk plox.

Answer to lerk question is yes. Also while youre at it, you should add more momentum on blink aswell and remove silly energy based damage reductions/invisibility.

I'd like to see a faster lerk, but as someone else said, not THAT much faster, and not THAT much weaker. Just a tiny tweak, since the Lerk now has bite ( and apparently a mini-shot gun ) and spikes come only later if the commander allows it. In all the games I've been, spikes have never been the priority; It's usually something like Leap -> Blink -> Bile bomb -> Stomp -> Spikes. You can switch stomp and spikes depending on the situation of the game. If you're going to make the lerk weaker and faster by a noticeable gap, please make spikes a primary weapon again. If not, I hope bite was fixed in 211. Bite in 210 was so very slow and weak... The lerk couldn't even take care of a res tower on its own, and it costs 30 res! If anything, it should at least be able to take care of a res tower as fast as a skulk, no?

Yes, being able to go faster (but with less survivability) increases the skill-ceiling, which is good.
A slower, but more survivable, Lerk only lowers the skill-ceiling.

Roughly the same effect on the gameplay, except a higher skill-ceiling is way more fun.

So: Yes please :)

Bite is right where it should as far as damage to structures and attack speed IMO. There's no reason a vanilla lerk needs to be better than skulk and taking out structures, he's a very good support class in combat. I'm fine with waiting for spikes to be good against structures. He was way too much of a flying skulk in 209.

Less armor = nah ;)

Oh and speed up his bites somewhere to say between b209 & b210.

In all honesty, I'd prefer the developer to decide these. Certainly user feedback has its uses, but the direction in general should be decided by the devs.

If you read correctly, I said as good as the skulk, not better. I know and enjoy the support role the lerk has, but without spikes as its main weapon, it's difficult to take out a structure. I don't want to see bite from 209 coming back, because I'll agree with you that it made the lerk into a flying skulk; It was more effective than a fade, for crying out loud. But the current bite seems too slow. Maybe with build 211 the poison countering will be fixed, but I'm speaking for build 210 here. Until we get the chance to try build 211, I stand by my point.

Well, as good as the skulk either I mean. To be clearer, I like skulk being much better at structure munching than a vanilla lerk. I agree about poison countering though, which is why I said lerk's bite is fine as is against structures. The poison aspect of it against players could use a buff though.

The more I think about it, the more I agree about the structure damage, after all. The lerk does fare better as a combat/support unit, and I don't think a bird-bat-thing chewing metal should do much damage to it. I'm for better poison. Glad we can agree on something.

Edit:

" Sorry about the delay with the build - it will actually be Build 212 and should be out today (a technical/Steam issue not the game). about an hour ago "

WHO CALLED IT? I could swear someone called it somewhere. I'm glad we're getting the update today! See you in 212! >:D

Probably identical to B211, but they were forced to increment the build-number for technical reasons (due to the new patch-destribution system).
